Jumping and rocketry oppose gravity but are not antigravity. What's meant by antigravity is the actual negation of gravity itself by controlling the local gravitational field to the point where a propulsion system is realized. It is, effectively, creating thrust without impulse. I don't know if it is possible to have thrust without impulse, but some are working on it.

There is more to it; on the webcast they showed more footage and we saw the rocket sucessfully in orbit. It's just not posted on here. I believe this video cuts off at loss-of-signal. The full video should be on the SpaceX website pretty soon...yay SpaceX!!!

In context: he achieved this from a standing start in just over 5 years. The Chinese space walk achievement was after 50 years with the wealth of 1 billion people to draw on.

it's really interesting watching the timing difference on the second stage release compared to last time, just those couple of seconds bought them enough clearance. I'm really happy for them, this must have been quite a rush. These guys are going to be rich, with delta 2's at 50 mil and these at only 7, they are going to have a monopoly for years to come.
