I had the 32x version of this game. Also, isn't there a mode that turns off the time extension for all but one of the checkpoints (the start/finish line)

i used to hate the way the "loading" sign would bounce all over the place

i remember being really disapointed when sega decided to rush daytona cce out instead of finishing indy 500 from the arcade

Forget the music at the checkpoints, I could never understand why they didn't play music during the entire race, on any version. When I played this on MAME I thought there was something wrong with the game because of this flaw.

i tought the 32x version was just a little bit diffrent then the genesis one,i have both version and i'm not really impressed by the 32x version after seeing the genesis one,same music same yerky graphics only little bit better.

I actually liked this conversion and it's a closest thing to the Arcade Original during the time.

I never understand why Time Warner Interactive have to publish this game instead of Sega? I think Sega-AM2 developed this game, or maybe it's Probe or Time Warner Interactive themselves.

This guy is using a Saturn emulator which for some reason does not play music at the checkpoints. If you play it on an actual Saturn, there is music at each checkpoint just like the arcade.

Seriously are you going to say the music is better on the genesis? You need a hearing aid as well. The load times are not that bad. I have all 3 versions and why all of them are good, the saturn version is the best. The 32x 2nd and the genesis last.

I used to have it and there was this one tune i would always play and sometimes it would pop up when i was racing but i forgot the title of the song. Very fast and the guitar sounded awesome in the song, but anyway could you upload the music from this game? thnx.
