More of the Karmonos money went to line Kwame Kilpatrick's pockets than did to help the City of Detroit. They don't care. Its a tax write off to them. Then send the pretty girl over in a pretty dress to say stuff about art, that clearly in this video, isn't contemporary but just plain junk. Detroit is a joke because of people like Karmonos. The rich do not care about all you poor people, don't you get that yet?
I guess it's like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The MOCAD building looks like it is one of the hundreds of abandoned downtown Motown buildings...sad really. Detroit was once a thriving city and has some really good people, but looks like bombed out Europe after WWII...few such buildings today than in the past, however. They have torn down many in favor of creating empty parking lots.
