  • PETA's euthanization rate has consistently been over 90% for years. Yet the people who surrender their pets to PETA are being told they're being evaluated for potential adoption. Do you think people would give their pets to PETA if they knew that they had a 9 in 10 chance of being put down? Any shelter in the country with a euthanization rate of 90% would be under criminal investigation. They should at least make an effort to re-home those animals instead of just "killing to be kind".

  • Great video, lots of facts i didn't know (mainly about the PETAKillsAnimals group). Thanks for sharing (:, great message at the end. One Love! X

  • The disclaimer at the end says that "Pagan Ron" speaks for no one but himself. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Nowhere in this video is any evidence presented of PETA using violence. Why? Because they don't. Yet the video uses insinuation to make its point.

The individual mentioned in the arson was not acting under direction from ALF, but on his own. Also, the building was uninhabited. Thus, the act was illegal, but it was an act of vandalism, not terrorism.

  • This video seems to be missing the point what peta did here was Animal Welfare...i dont know anyone who would argue AGAINST animal welfare but PETA fights for ANIMAL RIGHTs (a ridiculous concept) and blames shelters who are forced to euthanize animals then PETA "rescues" them and does the same thing.....hypocrisy thy name is

  • PETA euthanizes animals, and as such it makes no sense to a reasonably reasonable person that PETA would condemn another group for doing so. If PETA has been vocal about a shelter's kill method, then that shelter uses the gas box or is injecting paralytics into the hearts of conscious animals.

PETA, the HSUS, and The American Humane Association consider intravenous injection of sodium pentobarbital into the leg to be the ONLY kind and compassionate method of euthanasia.

  • PETA doesn't want to give animals the same rights as human beings, but merely the right to be free from their human tormenters.

Besides, non-human animals have no interest in our constitutional rights; unless, of course, it's the Second Amendment, which would then afford the animal the right to bear arms, perch himself in a tree with a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and a Spam sandwich, just lying in wait for the perfect moment to blow your head off when you least expect it.

  • Prove it.

What is wrong with people having the rights to buy what they when they want where they want? what is wrong with people having the right to sale a product that makes good money ?

If people want something, is it wrong to allow them to buy it? you have no idea how communistic you sound.

Don't bind my life and rights because you can see the bad in things.

Petakillsanimals is done by people that actually like animals.

  • google it clown.

  • I did not demand that you leave; I insisted that you engage in pithy debate rather than making an annoyance of yourself.

Censor your comments? Not at all. The more you animal exploiters, who stalk, trap, and kill unsuspecting animals for sport, carry on, critical thinkers realize that PETA is credible.

That, CCFmediaRatt, is seeing the forest for the trees!

  • When all else fails, you misquote and mischaracterize. How typical of a CCFmediaRatt.

I never said that human-based medical research should be scrapped. I said that using animal models in experiments to find cures for human disease is bad science.

You're having difficulty. Here, let's try this: using animals in the immunological screening of compounds doesn't reveal how a drug reacts in the treatment of human immune system-driven diseases. Animal immune systems are vastly different.

  • LOLing @ "is she a psychic? can she see the future?"

    So much for pithy retort.

Ingrid Newkirk was right, CCFmediaRatt. That simple.

Billions of dollars and 85 failed AIDS vaccines later that were tested on 100's of chimps who endured decades of gruesome experiments and confinement, and not a single vaccine proved successful in human clinical trials. Fact.

Concede or just go away. Your hysterical ranting is an annoyance.

  • You've said this already, wharffratt.

Have you no new and exciting propaganda to spin?

  • Funneling billions of tax-payer dollars into research in animals to find cures for human disease--subjecting millions of animals to needless suffering to prove nothing new is not life-saving medical science--it's called pharmabusiness.

It is the special interest group of researchers milking the American cash-cow taxpayer-funded NIH that promote the necessity of animal models in lieu of state-of-the-art technology that mimics the whole body HUMAN system.

  • The battle against HIV provides a classic example of the pitfalls of animal testing. Protease inhibitor drugs have made a major contribution to cutting the death rate transforming HIV from a death sentence into a manageable condition.

The biggest medical scandal of all times, a 4-year delay in the clinical trials of protease drugs, which subsequently contributed to the needless deaths of tens of thousands of people, because the initial drug testing was done on dogs and killed them.

  • Billions of dollars and 85 failed AIDS vaccines later that were tested on 100's of chimps who endured decades of experiments and confinement, and not a single vaccine proved successful in human clinical trials.

These vaccines, however, protected chimpanzees from HIV infection.

Conclusion: responses in chimps are not predictive of human response.

Resolution: employ scientifically superior MIMIC technology using assays of the human immune system to measure drug efficacy.

  • "Even if animal experiments did result in a cure for AIDS, OF WHICH THERE IS NO CHANCE, I'd be against it on moral grounds."

    Ingrid Newkirk -- PETA

    Imagine that. PETA was right!

  • LOLing @ "mankind hating windbag."

Okay, okay, so you're angry that Ms. Newkirk was right all along.

Yes, so are many other animal killers who stalk, trap, and murder innocent animals for sport.

You hunting folk need to stop taking your rage out on PETA.

  • is your cult leader a psychic? according to you she can predict the future.

we get it, you are emotionally pained by the death of animals. perhaps, you hypocrite, should look in the mirror for damn near everything man does on this planet exploits animals. you just feel the need to get up on a moral high horse and demonize those who don't share your dietary beliefs, while hypocritically ignoring your own rampant cruelty to animals slaughtered in the cultivation of foods you consume.

  • The National Cancer Institute's then director, Dr. Richard Klausner, stated in a LA Times article of May 6, 1998:

"The history of cancer research has been a history of curing cancer in the mouse. We have cured mice of cancer for decades and it simply doesn't work in humans."

  • FORTUNE magazine, "Why We're Losing the War on Cancer" blames the failure in combating human cancer on animal experimentation.

"A fundamental problem which remains to be solved in the whole cancer research effort, in terms of therapies, is that the preclinical animal models of human cancer, in large part, stink."

  • While profiteer scientists spent the last 20 years trying to infect the chimpanzee with HIV in order to find a suitable animal model, other less self-involved researchers were developing technology to enable them to rapidly test AIDS vaccine candidates and predict their effectiveness in humans in a way that has never before been possible with animal models.

    Vivisectors, the jig is up!

  • MIMIC technology predicts the immune reactivity and efficacy of vaccines and drugs before they are tested in humans using an assay of the human immune system. The drugs' reaction is measure with computers.

Ingenious, huh? Biotechnology is progressive like that.

Thanks to PETA, and the legal petition they filed against the EPA demanding that scientifically superior toxicology test methods be employed, tens of thousands of animals' lives have been saved.
