@Jaks32 You do realize an artist's beat isnt theirs 90% of the time? Thats what producers are for. And major lazer is nothing but a project by producers diplo & switch.

Thats what producers do, they make a beat and then sell it to an artist for a fee.

So theres nothing illegal about it, despite what you people seem to think.

@latinoheat300 Diplo is primarily a DJ not a producer. And Major Lazer is a project by them for which the two DJs make the songs, like how the Gorllaz is made by a variety of DJs. I'm pretty sure that if the beat for Feel Good Inc was used no one would claim that it was sold. This, and all of Major Lazer's beats, are not intended to be used by other bands.

And besides, its not so much an issue of legality as it is giving credit where its due.
