Whats the best way to "put down" chicks before feeding? I usually put them in a bag and slam them, but i feel bad about doing it even though it is an instant kill.

it's for that speed (and venom) that I both HATE / really like snakes!

A rattler nearly struck me once. I was walking in the semi-desert regions of my home, and almost stepped on the poor guy. Luckily rattle snakes are gentlemen and warn you before attacking.

Still though, I booked it opposite direction!
