One of my favorite pieces of music EVER, both to sing and to listen to. Dozens and dozens of times and the final "quando corpus" still gives me chills. TFP! :-)
The transition from the beginning Quando corpus to the Paradisi gloria and Amen in radiant D major is almost unbearable in its intensity, as is so much of the score. Quis est homo, qui non fleret? Non sum. --Ioannis

Que maravilloso final para esta obra maestra!
Dvorak nunca cesó de sorprenderme con sus composiciones, por eso es mi compositor favorito!

I forgot to mention one little coincidence: Dvorak was born on Sept. 8--the Feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. --John

Me neither... Thank you for your comments. The coincidence is interesting, I didn't know that.
