I have just bled my brakes, so i went to test them, before i got on it, i spun the wheel nd braked, everything was ok, so i got on it and then braked few times but then suddenly the brake pads are braking on the rotors, they didnt let go with the rotor and the lever is now impossible to be pressed, can anyone help? Sorry if it doesnt make sence :D
Hi. I have a Cannondale C4 brake, and unlike the Tektro that you have on your video, it doesn't have the spring tension screw on top of the brake arm (02:48). How do I adjust it then?
ok here goes nothing my brakes don't even touch the tire damn this what happens when bike is not in use since 1998 damn lol everything get loose and thnk god it was in a dry place no rust just loose all around all around..everything needs be adjusted and tightening........lots of work thanks for the video wish you had a closer view zoom on the camera ut it was grate video regardless.8 out of 10..
I have some 80's Campagnolo breaks.... 1984. One of the pads moves when I break and the other doesn't move so much. Can't find any vids on vintage breaks... any suggestions?
@peter3337 I've already seen that video. My problem isn't that my brakes aren't centered... they are. My problem is: that one of the lever's move and makes contact with the rim, and the other one doesn't move.
@freezazoid That is probably either a binding brake pad or the tension on that side needs adusting ( also try cleaning the brake mount and lubing it with some good bike grease).
this vid help alot thanks
