I don't know much about Audrey Williams and if she could sing or not, but she does a good job of harmonizing with Hank on the last song. What I do know is that Yoko Ono could never pull that sort of thing off in a million years.

A true legend living or dead. One of the first country rockers. He had his personal demons but he brought joy to so many. God bless you, Hank. He was the template for the rest to follow. I was ten years old when I heard on a Toronto radio station of his death that New Years day. Like Pres, Kennedy, I remember where I was. I was at my uncle's house with my family for a party the night before. Thanks for this, AlanPaladin. Great photos, too.

Alan, all I can say is everything you post on Hank Sr is powerful. I truly believe Hank III is part of Hank SR they are almost identical. For anyone who has not listed to the song "Howlin at the Moon,(Stubbs) listen to hank sr. then to Hank III and tell me they are not re-incarnated.

The previous comment is not only pathetically boorish but also incredibly ignorant. Mr. Williams was enormously talented, his songs are as popular now as when written - they transcend time. Also, he wasn't just a big star in his time- he was TWO big stars-a country music star as Hank Williams and a gospel music star as Luke the Drifter. Can any contemporary performer make such a claim? Imagine how many more immortal songs he would have written had not substance abuse shortened his life.

i have only heard of Hank's radio show. i never heard it before today. i don't recall ever hearing Audrey sing before, but i agree, it kept the peace in Hank's house.i'd love to hear more of the radio show. perhaps it is for sale on CDsomewhere.
