In the past when I use to race I've seen many older folks with their wives, entire family, or girl friends at the race. They share an interest in the hobby and either race or they are helpful as a pit crew. ive been waiting for a track to open within 75 miles of my house for about 4 years. a huge one just opened about a month ago right around the corner from me and has ROAR and RC PRO races on the calendar already. for the very first race i really wanted to be there and my girlfriend really wanted to hang out. weve been dating almost 2 years so i drug her there for a couple hours. she hated it but i got to see some east coast pros and some really good racing. i win
