  • Only the overcomers shall be saved. Hebrews 6:4-6 It is impossible for those who have been enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gifts......and put the Savior in an open shame. It's true humans are vulnerable. Worshipping God in music glorifies God but Jesus tells us to be watchful in prayer, for it enforces the will of God. We should not judge but true christians should fight the fight of faith all the time. If a believer is truly in tuned with God, conviction is fast, but two years..........

  • amen brotha

  • wow you are so right Connah47 thank you for posting this!

  • I'm not in the same boat as Mike, I don't commit massive acts of fraud. As for your "we are all capable of sin" argument, I agree, it's just that very few of us act upon it.

  • @justpaul62 ALL IS IS EQUAL IN GODS EYES... Whether you lied about where you were to you mom or girlfriend and decieved them, or you lied and decieved millions. Sin is Sin to God. The Bible says when we confess our sins and REPENT, that means to never return to them again, then and only then are we truly forgiven! So if you are a Christian and you are still getting drunk or high on the weekends or using profanity, then guess what? In God's eyes, YOU ARE in the same boat as Mike. Peace&Blessings

  • @Nikbones I just love how you guys minimize what Mike did. Think about his victims, are you praying for them? I doubt it. By your logic Hitler murdering millions of jews is no worse than a child stealing from the local store as long as you say sorry to god. Can you show me in the bible where it says it is a sin to get drunk or high on the weekends? Do they do workshops at Hillsong to show you how to pass a camel through the eye of a needle or do they run business courses using government money?

  • @justpaul62 No, by Nikbones' logic, Hitler murdering millions of Jews is no worse than a child stealing from the local store, in God's eyes, because no matter what sin, they all break God's heart the same. On worldly and our human standards, of course what Hitler did to the Jews was far worse. And a lot of people get the definition of "repentance" twisted. It's not just acknowledging what you did wrong and saying "sorry." It's more than that. It's a 180 degree turn from what you were doing.

  • Stop blaming pornography, blame the thing that did the real damage=christianity.

  • Michael Googlemuchy

  • Your pastor must have pulled his dick several times a day to make him so sick...

  • Love your work Dude!!!!!

  • One thing I can say..., the Holy Spirit never lies... and when I listened to his song Healer I didn't feel anything, I didn't listen to the whole music on dvd and cd. I asked God apolagize if I was being boring or wrong about him... but I realized that I'm not.

Anyways..., who are we to judge? But this is for us... we we are making mistakes in the presence of God we must confess evertyhin because the devil acts in our "silence" and if we don't have strength we must ask that for God and a pastor

  • @masylva The words of the song are still VERY true and powerful...he had to believe them otherwise he would not have confessed what he was doing. He could have just said Look! God healed me! But he trusted in the Lord, even amoungst his sin, and confessed them. Now according to the Bible, if be does not return to his evil ways, he will be in fact, forgiven. In reference to the song... I first heard it from Kari Jobe and her version is very POWERFUL...be blessed.

  • @Nikbones Im not talkin bout him..., but I do agree with you!! I was just talkin about my feeling when i heard the song..., even listenin 2 the powerful words... in his voice i didnt feel anything... i dont know how to explain, but in other voices i feel something good.

What I mean is: when we try to live a holy life in the God's presence..., even when u dont talk bout God... ppl see the difference in you, ppl feel good things in your side, wants your help... (continue)

  • @Nikbones but when u arent honest with God and ppl around u..., even if u try to hide something... ppl notice it...

but what I said theres no relation to his personal life with his family and God... i repeat... its about what i was feelin when i heard the song sand by him... ;]

  • Shot bro.. well said!!!

  • I can only think that Jesus gave me forgiveness, and i was unworthy, think it well non us was or will ever be worthy of salvation, but God's grace and mercy goes further still, and, If Jesus gave us forgiveness, WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE OTHERS?

  • Good comments made re Mike. A few other thoughts thoughs:

    - a pastor (who is a shephard) needs to be deal with more severely than a church member because they are meant to be an example. ACC did the right thing in stripping him of being an ACC pastor.

    - God is willing to forgive Mike if he repents. Repenting doesn't mean saying sorry, it means doing a 180 turn around.

We are sinners and need God's forgiveness too.

Let's forgive and pray for Mike, but don't forget God's justice...

  • You know, He's right... Jesus just didn't shed his blood for us but for michael too...

  • I was Baptised as a Borne-Again at 21 when I was in a Crisis with the help of an LAPD officer. He explained to me that no matter what you do from now on...no matter how many times you let go or fall from Jesus's hand...he will always be there once again as if you never let him go. Once you've been saved...you've been saved for eternity. Jesus is perfection, we must do our best to be like him because there is some other forces trying to lead us somewhere else. We should be fighting pornsites.

  • i agree with you and say "let he who is without sin , cast the first stone" i dont remember exactly where it is but anyone can look it up.

  • "you need to get over it "

    woah... that is soo true!

  • As believers have to forgive this person & pray for him If we are truly with God. we have to encourage each other.

Job16:5 But my mouth would encourage you; comfort from my lips would bring you relief. And yes this guy did something wrong big time. But, We sin against God every day. We just have to focus our eyes on God and pray for this guy.

Rom10:30 I urge you Brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.

  • I agree with every single thing you have said! AMEN!

  • God has forgiven him, but he still is paying for his sins. facing ppl who relentlessly bombard him with guilt is already a big thing to deal with. we all know that. but come on guys, we need to forgive. this is where we are tested.are we like the pharesees who keep pointing at others when we ourselves are guilty of many things or are we really follwers of JESUS CHRIST? its time to ask ourselves that first.

  • its wrong to sin,but to own up and say its wrong, one needs guts for that.not many of us would publicly confess that, especially when it comes to lustful issues.just like how a prisoner realizes his mistakes, but have to still pay for it, Micheal realized his mistakes and is sincerly asking for forgiveness.

  • You are making disgusting comments. You sweep Mike's horrific deceptive sins aside by reasoning that it's ok, because we all sin? That is disgusting and makes sin an acceptable act. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • dont you realise that when you're talking about sin words like 'horrific', 'deceptive' and 'acceptable' are of absolutely no importance? the Bible tells us that God chooses not to remember our sins. end of story. obviously sin is not right because it is against God's intentions but neither you nor i have the right to hold anything against mike guglielmucci when God has chosen to forget it.

  • how can u spek like that wooooooooow are u a cristian? i doubt it... u should get saved again , would love to know if u are perfect.i'll love to know what jesus thinks of the sins u you've comitted, i think i know he'll say i forgot,God is so mercefull and so loving and lokks like jesus is not u or else u will see through jesus eyes and forget it like am susre jesus has

  • i understand what your saying but saying get "saved again " is implying that if the person was saved in the first place that it is possible to lose that salvation which it isnt possible so if the person is truelly saved then the person cannot get saved again for Jesus died on the cross once for the worlds sin and if it was possible to lose salvation then Jesus in order for God to forgive that person again jesus would have to die on the cross again which He wouldnt do.

  • Amen Brother!!! Yes sir!!! That is what is all about!!! Love and Forgiveness!!! All have fallen short of the Glory of God, but it is because his son came and chose to give his life so we could have one... amazing. I am so happy to have the personal relationship with my savior!!

  • If you just study the Bible, God utilized murderers, adulterous people and so many others with shortcomings to walk with him and spread the word. Look at the 12 disciples. The Lord is the ultimate judge of Mike's life... we aren't.

  • jo292566, firstly, Hillsong is reaching a lot of people, but it's not with the true image of Jesus. It's a false worldly gospel which in the end leads people to become self-reliant and seeking worldly success and money. Hillsong preach a gospel that leads people into deception and Mike Guglielmucci is a good example of what can happen to Hillsong members as they strive to feel important and successful. And if YOU study the Bible you will realise that what Mike did was an abomination to the Lord.

  • If we look at what mike has done, we see he had a problem, do you have problems? I have problems. The bible says we need to renew ourselves in him DAILY. We ALL fall short of him... on a daily basis. Mike confessed! He can now be covered in the blood and be forgiving, so instead of being upset and hating him, lets be glad that we have one less soul going to hell, because sin is sin. God forgives all and loves all but hates sin. That is whats seperates us. No matter how big or small it is.

  • 1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

  • Mike Guglielmucci's exposure is an example of the dangers that are bred within the Hillsong community. That is because Brian Houston and Hillsong breed and condition people for money and business. So after awhile, the people will become so focused on money and "success" that they will even sell their souls and lie to get it. It's a very dangerous place at Hillsong, and is more like a networking marketing business than a Church. If anyone truly love Jesus, then come out of this worldly place.

  • That is the most asinine comment I have ever heard. Hillsong is reaching the world in unprecedented ways for Christ. You judge a tree by its fruits and this ministry is fruitful. What fruit has come from your life?

  • They are sending more people to hell then every pub, brothel and university put together with their false gospel

  • Your comments about Mike are disgusting, even from a biblical and Christian perspective. It's a great sin so sweep lies and deception under the carpet and just reason, "oh well, that's ok, he is a sinner and we all sin, and so we should just ignore it". It's the demonic attitude that you have displayed that encourages people, especially Christians to commit horrific sins, because they reason its ok, they are a sinner, so its ok to sin.

  • I agree

  • be holy like i am holy thats what Jesus Christ said

He who says they know Christ and do not keep his commandments is a liar

he who hungers and thirst for rightousness shall recieve it

  • wow...this is all true....god bless

  • why are you whispering?

  • I agree

  • Caleb000007 I'm pretty sure being a lost person is best way to be a christian. I don't like the idea of having things altogether to be a christian. Yes Mike did wrong, there is no doubt. I certainly hope being alost person is what a chrisitan is cause there are plenty of people needing Christ who are lost and aren't suddenly complete when come to knowledge of Christs love. We daily get closer and continue learner until the beautiful day when God welcomes us with love.

  • I Don't know about you guys... but I've been very blessed by the song Healer! God uses men even in the bad times and as we sin... God knows why... but He uses you and me in our lowest points sometimes to show us that He is with us and He loves us! My prayers go out to Mike... People need to learn how to forgive... like Jesus did! God Bless You!

  • Your a good man! Preaching the Truth. Mike has done wrong things but are we any different? We christians hav no right 2 condemn anyone for their sins period! Every christian/non believer is allowed their say but at the same time, we are not allowed to judge he who has committed sin. No sin is BIGGER then the other. its is his sin not ours so dont worrie about it. This needed to happen it is the end times and this is only the start...if ppl cant get ova this then they are not going 2 LAST.

  • your judging just by saying that please dont judge

  • Jonh 8:32 AND THE THUTH SHALL SET YOU FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Coroflot; basicly wat you're saying is that real Christians can't sin lol.....

  • I have so much compassion for Michael Guglielmucci. We all make mistakes and it saddens me how some people are so quick to become angry and judgemental and yet so slow to speak and recognise their own sinful nature. I love and support Michael, I understand that he has made a mistake and longing for healing and forgiveness. None of us are immune to temptation. To all those who condemn Micheal, get off your high horse and get over it.

  • your judgemental by judging others opinions

  • corneloup81, my comment was the complete opposite of judgement... You're ignorant & you make no sense :/

  • you said "saddens me how some people are so quick to become angry and judgemental", actually if u stop and think bout wat u said u made a judgement, look up definition of judgemental see if ur statement fits

  • the best way to stay nuetral is to say nothing, the moment u open ur mouth to point something out someone said or critizize any side regrdless you hav made a judgement. u are blind if u cant see that and u r the ignorant one. i say its ok to judge, you say its wrong so stop it

  • Erm... There is a difference between 'discernment' and being 'judgemental'.

When I said that "...it saddens me how some people are so quick to become angry and judgemental..." It was a truthful observation. You're arguing something that you're ignorant of. You don't make any sense so, therfore I'll no longer reply to you. You're running around in circles.

  • judgment: the cognitive process of reaching a decision or drawing conclusions.

does that definition fit this statement? it saddens me how some people are so quick to become angry and judgemental..." that was your conclusion.

you need to got back 2 school and learn english, sorry for being blunt

  • judgment: the cognitive process of reaching a decision or drawing conclusions.

you need to got back 2 school and learn english, sorry for being blunt

  • Maybe you should take you're one advice and say "Nothing". I don't want to "stay neutral" because I'm the complete opposite of being indifferent about this particular issue. I'm passionate about continuely to love, support and pray for Michael. You're ignorant if you think that it's "ok" to beat others down and condemn them. I have discernment you have condemnation. You are blind if you can't tell the difference!

  • *your own

  • i havnt condemned mike he can still get saved and then baptised, greek def of condemn kat-ak-ree'-no

that is, sentence: - condemn, damn. i cant put him in hell thats not possible.

  • 1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

  • That scripture has nothing to do with this situation... you look back at that entire chapter and it is refering to a person who claims they are a christian but lives in the world without change, Paul was writing this letter to the church because of people who claim to be christians but did not change their habbits, mike confessed his sins, and repented from them.. these people in the scripture did not...

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then confess and i was a christian the whole time???

It is talking bout the situation mike claims to be a christian yet he is extorting people and commiting adultery for two years, this scripture is talking about people like mike in the church/within, living like the world

  • It is one thing to confess but the thing he has done is repented... he turned from it and because he has turned from it he can now be forgiven. Paul murdered christians before he became one and look he is a disciple, all sin is the same. He was forgiven, Mike has repented so he too can experience that same Grace. To answer your question, sin is sin. There is no 'really bad sin' or a 'not so bad sin'. It is Sin itself that seperates us from God, we will be at the judgment seat for

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME???

  • we leave that to God, man we have no right to say whether or not he is a christian or not... Actions speak louder than words, I honestly believe that he was trying to please God at his most and others he ran the other way. We are not to say what he is, sure it is confusing that he was in leadership in a church and this still happened, but just because your in leadership doesn't mean you are inhuman, and like is said man... Sin is sin.. no matter how insane it is, its all in the Grace of God!

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME??? And im also capable to be a pastor and lead a flock??

  • So what your saying is if a pastor is raping children for 2yrs we have no right to kick him out the church and say he was not saved because he repents???

  • What I am saying is, quit being a hipocrite christian in trying to push judgment on a human who has done no worse than you. sure, people need to be removed from leadership, Im not arguing that, he is not in need of being in a high role like that for awhile, but you need to be more glad about seeing people come to christ instead of trying to find a way to condemn them. Why are you so fired up? As a leader he needs to lead, and if he is not capable then no, but he doesnt need to be kicked out of

  • the church, because thats where he needs to be the most! Come on! be sensible! Christ did not come to minister to the believers! A DOCTOR DOES NOT HEAL THE SICK! He came for the hurting and dieing both physically and spiritually! he may not be physically sick but he sure does need some jesus and all you want to do is condemn this man. Tell me where you have that right? God is the judge, we are his servants, and what needs to take place is helping people come to him and not be selfish in the fact

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME???

  • GOD what ignorance is there.should read your bible and get to know the mind of God once u begin to know the mind of God maybe u'll undrstan, remeber david do u he sinned... God restaurd him after he asked forgiveness do remeber that part, the key is true repentance .think ok or read

  • And what did Christ say, go now and sin no more. He who says he knows the Lord yet does not keep his commandments is a liar.

please dont tell me what this doesnt mean but what it does mean!

  • that since we are saved or we are secure, thats it game over. we need to be more worried about the lost because our life is not our own! We need to minister to those people who you try to put down and shut out! God hates sin but loves the person! we are his CHILDREN! and if we are fighting about who gets the holy seat in heaven because we wont help or forgive those who messed up and it was on TV, what if all of our sins where on tv? Well they are going to be on judgment day and we wont be

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME???

  • So you believe once saved always saved? plenty of scripture to say otherwise.

"God hates sin but loves the person!"

psalms 5vs5 does not say that but it says God hates the WORKER of iniquity not works.

Why dont sinners say on the day of judgment send my sin to hell and me to heaven?

  • u are soooo right people just dont get it...i have to say some people have to be re accept jesus because they dont understan that critianity is being christ like, we should jus asks our selfs when something like this happens what woul jesus do what woul he think, what woul be his attitude and then do the same

  • worried about what Mike did, no you will be thanking God that his grace covered every little thing you did, so stop worrying about what God will do to him, because he will judge you how you judge others! If you want mercy from God you have to show mercy to others that hurt you. Its Scripture.

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME???

  • If i lived continously in sin for 2yrs i wouldnt be saved, and if someone didnt tell me that and could have, my blood would be on his hands on judgment day

  • there are rules in the bible about having a position in the church. you have to keep certain things in order. but if a pastor is raping children and then asks for forgiveness then we have to forgive him....God would take care of it all, that's a part of having faith, you know?

  • everything that we do, but remember, we all fall short of the glory of God on a daily... yes that means everyone everyday needs to renew themselves in God. and remember, he who is without sin cast the first stone, my sins and yours alike are no better than his.

  • so what your saying is i can rape and murder girls for 2 yrs then repent and i was a CHRISTIAN THE WHOLE TIME??? answer the question stop sidetracking

  • we are all brothers and sisters in christ. one fall, we help pick them up from that mistake. what happens to Michael could be a test to our faith. how we should react. should we react with love or hate. when peter denies jesus 3 times. jesus forgave him. peter repented and asked for forgiveness. exactly what Michael did. God Bless EveryOne!!

  • Sure!! its a warning from God to turn away from the fake churchs that are making muchandise out of you.

  • Sure I agree that there is no sin exept the rejection of God that can seperate you from God! But if someone is truly a believer he is a new creation and will deal with his sin. I have watched mike preach and heard his song and see nothing but a deciever and an unbeiever. That is differant to someone struggling with sin putting his faith in God! Your faith is the evidence of things unseen. I saw no walk of faith so there must be none. Hebrews 11 James 2vs24

  • God Forgives. Why can't we?

  • What's scary is that the same measure we use to judge other is the measure God will use to judge us. And when *I* screw up? I surely wouldn't want God to cast me away from His presence and say, "What a wicked sinner, let's disown him." I'm grateful that while I was still a sinner, not only did He not send me away, but He DIED for me, you know?

  • Yes alot of people are going o hell better teach them the truth quick.

  • Really read the letters to the 7 churchs

  • HEB 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God... I HOPE MICHAEL IS NOW A CHRISTIAN for a REAL CHRISTIAN CANNOT DO WHAT HE DID!

  • I'm blessed to have be a worship pastor. When I heard this news I was shocked, but then I was hurt.I hurt because it could have been me. We all sin. What if our sins were brought out to the forefront of our local churches for all to see? I would be ashamed of myself. I hurt because we are weak and sometimes we bring shame to the gospel. Like Paul said, o wretched man that i am. I do what i don't want to do, and i don't do what i should. We really need God's intervention over HIs bride.

  • 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. James 24 ou see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruits, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

  • Allow me the liberty to explain the meaning of not casting pearls to swine. Pearls are precious and refers to the Word of God. Swine refers to people who are unreceptive or hostile to God's Word. Thus when we exhort people or witness to unbelievers, we need to balance love with discernment - discernment as to whether they will scorn the precious things of God or listen with an open mind so that we know when to share or not to share, and how to share.

  • I am not condeming mike Jesus will do that im saying that we must decern whether he is a believer or not!! and that is what we are called to do with swine too.

  • Do you realize that Mike isn't the only Christian struggling with this sin. Out there are many other Christians struggling with the same or similar sin. How the body of Christ respond to Mike is either going to encourage people to come forward and say 'I have the same problem and I need help' or drive people to hide and struggle in silence and stumble in the walk with God for fear of being ostracised. Will love triump or will condemnation rule?

  • Thats rubbish! you are getting confused with the sexual sin he has confessed. I agree that there is a struggle in that area. But that part is a distraction to the real issue! It has been careully engeneered to shift your focus from the web of lies and deceit he spun for 2 years! He lied to the church to promote himself and make fincees. Dont attribute grace to an unbeliever who tryied to make money and get power and was caught out. You never have sinned in this way neither has any other believer

  • Just because Mike was hiding a sin does not mean that everything he did was a charade. Suppose you're a family counselor and you go to work everyday counselling broken families with success but for some reason your own family is falling apart. That does not make your work a farce. You did your work telling all the right thing. Your problem is that you could not deal with your own problems and you need help yourself.

  • To be a minister you would have to fit the criteria laid out for us in the letters to timothy and titus. If you dont fit the criteria and you keep ministring then you sin. If you dont confess or admit the sin then you dont have the truth in you and call God a liar. 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us. context

  • He didn't say he has no sin. He confessed to wrong doing, remember? It's just that you have discounted his confession because you said that he could have been forced into it. But that part about being forced into admission is speculation on your part and is not a fair thing to do.

  • You see, if we want God to forgive us our trespasses, then we need to forgive Mike. Jessu said so in Matthew 6:15.

  • Mike has not wronged me so it is not up to me to forgive! He has wronged God and God says in his word that lying to his church to gain money and power is not the fruit of A christian! I agree that no sin can seperate a believer from God, but Gods word tells us that bad fruit like this is not the fruit of a believer. 2 years of lies and deciet while preaching the gospel mixing it with your lies! Sorry that is not a Christian but a lost person.

  • No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Spirit of God (1Cor 12:3). It's not the will of God that any one should perish (1 Peter 3:9) for God so loved everyone that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (Ps 116:15). Therefore if anyone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual, restore him gently (Gal 6:1) Do not judge from appearane but judge with righteous judgment (John 7:24)

  • I forgive him, even if he's christian or not, cuz ive basically gotten over it... but whats funny is that whenever my ipod plays that song, i'll think about porn! haha like seriously ppl,

  • haha... thats jacked up... but funny.

  • A lot of people is saying that they won't do Healer anymore because it was writin by a Fraud But I realy don't care who wrote it we need to see who the song was writin for, this is the most powerful song I have ever hear and that song has deaply touched me, I will do this song not for Mike Guglielmucci or any other Human but I will worship God with this song with all my heart, mind, and strength!!!!

    God Bless you guys!!!!!

  • Keep singing, Rioboy07 and God bless you. When I first heard the song on CD, I didn't know the voice or the story behind it. But I sensed such a wonderful presence of God and felt His anointing on the singing. I haven't heard a song sung like that before. It's my conviction that God gave this song to Mike in response to his struggle.

  • It was a familiar spirit you felt. A lying spirit behind the song!!!!!

  • With love and due respect, if I were you, brother, I wouldn't be too quick to say that. Do you seriously think the devil would give you a song about Jesus? Remember when the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Satan, Jesus told them all sins could be forgiven of them except the sin of blasphemy (Matt 12:31).

  • The song was a result of a web of lies spun by mike under the influence of a lying spirit. The catholics spread the name of Jesus by the sword so I dont think this line of thinking works. Mike was certainly not using the power of God to promote his lies and God certainly did not get involved with the lie either.

  • yes he comes as a spirit of lite decieving many

  • My reply to you Corneloup81, I've never come across a deceiving spirit that is called spirit of life. I don't know how things are in Australia right now but I pray the body of Christ there will go from strength to strength and glory to glory and that Mike G will by the grace of God overcome and be more than a conqueror thro Christ and that he would sing again for Jesus.

  • 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

thats your problem wid americans u hardly read ur bible all in2 unscriptual stuff like shacking and mooing like a cow, clucking like a chicken, ur easily decieved, thats all hindu pagan stuff check it out 4 urself

  • Ok. I read you wrongly. I thought you wrote spirit of life. My mistake. I'm not from America.

  • corneloup81, the difference is this: When we confess our sins to God, He readily forgives us (1John1:9). But when we confess our sins to men, some will forgive us, some will throw stones at us.

  • he can still get saved 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

I afride mike walked in darkness for the last 2 years and even if he has come into the light now, like caleb000007 says he needs to be baptized as a new convert as a testomony that he has become a believer. He clearly fits the discription of a false teacher.

  • The weight of guilt which led to his confession is the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The fact that he confessed publicly is evidence of his being yielded to the Holy Spirit. We could surmise that he would have already confessed his sin to God and is forgiven as far as God is concerned. I believe so. To say the 2 yrs when he preached while struggling with living with that sin meant he was walking in darkness is being too simplistic.

  • ive got the original video with hillsong, and healer, he does not look broken or convicted. i hav my sources to say that someone close to him told him come out or ill go public, and he took the same rout a clever politician would do. The bible specifically says you will know beleivers by there fruit. Dont attribute grace to an unbeliever who tryied to make money and get power and was caught out. You never have sinned in this way neither has any other believer.

  • Well I won't judge a person based on outward appearance or what I hear from people. Neither will I judge from superficial or insufficient information. To do that is to make an unrighteous judgment. I can draw an accurate conclusion only if I have the chance to talk to Mike G personally. Otherwise I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because what I can see is a man who is sorry for what he had one.

  • wat if i said i was the person to tell him come out or im going to the media, my judgements would then be correct, wouldnt they?

  • Are you saying that you are that person who told him to come out or you would go to the media?

  • 1. If you're that person who told him to come out then you have knowledge which gives you basis for some of the things you say. Beyond that, I can't say he wasn't saved. Only God knows. While we can tell a tree by its fruits, we don't always build as we should on the foundation Jesus has laid. Paul explained this when he said in 2Cor 5:10 that we (believers) would one day appear before the judgment seat of Christ and receive what is due to us for the deeds done in the body, whether good or bad.

  • 2. In 1Cor 3:12-15 we are told that the works that we do will be revealed by fire for what it is and if they are burned, then we will suffer loss (of rewards) but we will be save, "but only as one escaping thru the flames." Remember the devil is always on the prowl seeking those he may devour (1Pet5:8). So it's impt to uphold our leaders in prayer cos when a leader falls, esp one who has great influence, it causes much hurt and divison in the church and that's the devil's aim.

  • 3. The Bible tells us to forgive because we are not unaware of the schemes of the devil. It's natural for you to be very upset with him. But healing for the many who have been hurt begins with forgiveness for the one who gave the hurt. Forgiveness for Mike will give him the strength to overcome his addiction. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness. When the church forgives, God's love will flow and love never fails.

  • Besides, corneloup81, whatever your views may be, there is one thing you can do. You can pray for him. Everyone needs prayer. If you think he's never been saved, then pray that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. God loves him too, you know.

  • I belive that Mike WAS,and IS saved, everyone has sined and fallen short of the grory of God, Yes, what Mike did was Bad who cares thats between him and GOD its not for us to Judge. God said forgive not 7 times but 70x7 I know that God forgave Mike and so should we We christians are supposed to be Christ like thats wat christian means So if Christ forgives Why shouldn't we!!!

(This message is not Twards no body specific I'm Just throwing it out there. :-D

    GOD BLESS you guys!!!!!

  • Mike can be saved no doubt about that. The question is WAS he and IS he now saved.scripture tells us no. But God does call sinners to REPENTENCE!! We will not be perfect neither am I. But I think its a bit differant when mike lied to us and to God for two years singing an emotional song to everyone. Watch as he preachs, No Christian with the spirit of God would do that. Only in a fallen state could he have made such a mockery of God and his church. The Sexual stuff is just a plea for empathy

  • Isa 30:9 that this is a rebellious people, lying sons. They are sons who will not hear the Law of Jehovah;

    Isa 30:10 who say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Do not prophesy to us right things, speak to us smooth things, prophesy falsehood;

Isa 30:11 go out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

  • Can anyone please type in another scripture?

we dont have enough ametuer ministers to go around for the whole of youtube. LOL.

You do realise that Christians are banging on about this a whole lot more than non-Christians? How about dropping the subject and get the heck over it!!

  • Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Mat 7:16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?

Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruits, nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

  • Can you give an iterpritatio of these scriptures Hebrews4: 12 Luke 9 Vs 23James 2 Vs 24 Corinthians 5John 8vs 32-33John 20:23 John8: 31Hebrew 12 14 1corinthians6 11 1Corinthians 2:12 1John 2:5 1John 3:3 Luke 6:26 1John 1:6 1John 2:5 Matthew 24 vs 40 to matthew 25 vs 46 1cor 2:11-12.

  • martinluther2, let me try to explain Heb 4:12

    1. Man is essentially a spirit. You have a soul also which is made up of your intellect and emotions, and your body is the dwelling place of your spirit. When you are born again, your spirit is made brand new. But your soul (also referred to as the old man) is still pretty much the same and needs to be renewed by the word of God. That's why it's important to read the Bible. It's difficult to tell the soul and the spirit apart.

  • 2. But God's Word which is powerful and active is able to penetrate to the division between soul and spirit. The word 'judge' in this verse does not mean 'condemn'. It means 'assess'. God's word is able to help you assess whether the thoughts and intents of your heart are good or bad.

  • No it very important

  • With love and respect you have to start thinking for yourself. Take the lead.

  • 2 Corinthians 2:5-8

If someone has caused grief,..The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient for him. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

    1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's heart. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

  • bout time...astujest...keep serving the Lord brother...your a hero :)

  • part of your problem is that you think that all sin is the same!! you have been taught that but it is not true. Althought the eternal punishment is that same for all sin to the least to the greatest, there is plently of scripture to show us God deals with certain sin more harshly. Part of which is because if sin is left amoung the believers it will spread like leven in the church. 1Co 5:6-1Co 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are

  • To purge the leaven is to get rid of sin, not the sinner. Otherwise the church will become empty. The church is made up of all sorts of sinners saved by the grace of God and all are still being sanctified (the proces of getting rid of the leaven in us) Those who are well have no need for physicians and those who are righteous have no need for a saviour. Jesus said He came to call on sinners. (Luke 9:31-32). I guess Jesus came knocking on the door of Mike's heart because He loves Mike.

  • Thank you for the encouragement. You, too, bro., keep serving the LORD with love and God bless you.

  • 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

I afride mike walked in darkness for the last 2 years and even if he has come into the light now, like caleb000007 says he needs to be baptized as a new convert as a testomony that he has become a believer. He clearly fits the discription of a false teacher.

  • If his preaching is in line with the Word of God, regardless of his own double life, he is not a false teacher. A false teacher is one who teaches doctrines that are contrary to the Word of God. God uses willing vessels, not perfect vessels. Samson was a Nazarite from birth, used by God to judge Israel; Yet his private life was a mess. He was a womanizer and revengeful as well.

  • The bible says you will know them by there fruit not there teaching. And yes he preachs a luke warm gospel in line with his life. Poor gospel poor fruit very clear to me.

  • Talking about good trees and good fruits, you know that a good tee will sometimes produce rotten fruits due to external factors like pest, drought or disease. But that does not make the tree inherently bad. What the good farmer does is to treat the tree, or water it so that it will produce good fruits again.

  • how about we give the devil some grace ay? for how wide how deep how great is the love of God. maybe some of the demons are repentent for who can measure the love of God. Mike is a false teacher the bible warns us of that commands us to be discerning about that and to expell them. Paul speaks this way about many people and if mike had been an example in the new testament he would have been rejected as a false teacher.

  • I think this scripture in cor 4vs5 is talking about judging his ministries teahing. for instance we dont judge many other donomnations (unless there cultic) like salvos, uniting and so forth even though we dont agree 100%. we leave all that for God to judge us. In any case your view cannot be right because in the very next chapter we are told to judge 5vs13.

  • If Mike has been caught lying and he refuses to repent, insisting he has done nothing wrong. Then you are right to judge him and to expel him from the church for the sake of the body of Christ. But this isn't the situation. Mike himself came forward to tell the truth. He could have simply declared himself healed of caner and ended the deception there withoug anyone ever knowing anything about it.

  • How do you know he wasnt pushed by someone that knew and was gonna come out with it if he didnt. You dont know the real reasons why mike came out with it. So you cant make that call. We go by what the word says and he was in darkness void of the truth. Even if he has made a decision he needs to be baptised into the faith. By the way can you give a video response explaining the list of scriptures iv given out in one of my comments.

  • I don't have the equipment to give you a video response but I can explain the scriptures either in this space here though the character limit is a problem, or through personal messages to you from your profile, whichever you like. Give me the scripture references again, please.

  • The fact is that Mike confessed. He wasn't found out. He confessed. That to me is enough to say that he is repentant. He did it at a time when the album is fast selling and the publicity on him will be great. God gave him "Healer" in response to his cry and grace to confess the truth so that his healing may begin. So let the healing begin, not only for Mike but also for the church and the many people who have been hurt. Healing for ourselves begins with forgivenss.

  • Ecclesiastes 4:10

If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

    Galatians 6:1-2

Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

  • The issue is that we can tell by his fruit that he was never a brother.Heb4:12For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Mat7:16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? This scripture is in the same chapter as the do not jusge one.

  • THE MERCY OF THE LORD IS GREATER THAN THE MERCY OF MEN.

It is no wonder that when David was given three choices of punishment to choose from after he sinnned by counting his army, he chose to fall into the hand of the LORD. 2 Samuel 24:14 "I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men."

  • Matt 7:2 - For in the way you judge, you will be judged.

Unfortunately we tend to be harsh with others and kinder on ourselves. It happened to David. When Nathan came to David with a story, David was incensed upon hearing it and pronounced very harsh judgment not realizing that that man was he himself. (2 Samuel 12:1-10)

  • Matt 25vs1-13 A story about 10 virgins. All were virgins preparing for marrage with God! Virgin represents being cleansed from sin! But the holy spirit only lead 5 of them and in the end the rest were left outside of the marrige. Not everyone who says to me lord lord shall enter heaven but only they that do the will of my father in heaven.

  • Why should Mike's salvation be doubted?

King David committed adultery and grievous murder. Yet no one ever doubted his salvation at that point in time. He remained 'a man after God's own heart'. He became the standard against which all the kings after him were measured. If today a pastor commits adultery and murder, what would our reaction be?

  • 1Co 10:13 No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it. This passage is teaching us that as others have overcome sin so we also must. And the passage tells us to watch out that we dont end up like the Israelites that fell in the wilderness. Start again from vs 5 to vs 14 Connah

  • I have to reject what you say for many reasons, too many. its a pity that the most of the church have forgotten thats it

the narrow road we must be on not the broad one. We have forgotten that Jesus said we must also pick up our cross and follow him. We must resist sin and if you dont you dont have the spirit of God in you. (sorry)

  • Isa 1:23 your rulers are rebellious, and companions of thieves; everyone loves a bribe, and is pursuing rewards; they do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come to them. God is exposing this false church for what it is and its about time too.

  • You did well bro! He's gonna be another amazing story of restoration, just like all th
