  • This rarely happens in calgary.

  • I'm just not surprised that this system doesn't work. In sask ...we have nothing at all. you at least have something that doesn't work. LOL

O think they need to bring back the sirens. everyone understands those.

  • thing is loud!

  • Anyone have any Warning Videos using the EPWS?

  • great vid all around!

  • this is the alert system for the province of alberta, in the country of canada, which just happens to be north of the u.s

  • ok.. thanks!

  • living in alberta's capital city, I've heard this many a time.

The tone at the beginning alwas freaks me out,(especially after black friday.)

  • Whats Black Friday?

  • black friday was a tornado that touched down in edmonton in the 80's. Search it up on google for more info

  • OK.

  • oh i get it, Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, Right?

  • @Clayranger89: I don't think so. I'm no Canadian, but I know of a couple people who are{ever heard of Thunderbirds101?}, and apparently, it's in October.

    {Black Friday happened on July 31, 1987, btw. The F4 tornado killed at least 24 people, not just in Edmonton, but a few surrounding areas as well.}

  • @Clayranger89 In Edmonton, Alberta Canada there was a tornado that ripped through the Eastern part of the city. That day, July 31, 1987, is commonly known as Black Friday to those that live in the area.

  • @Clayranger89 wow, that's a scary tone. second only to the Protect & Survive (UK) jingle

  • @Clayranger89 black friday was the day this huge tornado hit edmonton alberta

  • @Clayranger89 Whats the EPWS?

  • ohh, ill try to record a test in september (i have digital cable)

  • this the most stupid thing i have ever seen u r a wimpy freak and there is no Alberta public warning system see u in class

    rocio(girl in his class) ps u r a cherry

  • Then I Suggest You Either Search In Jacobdallen, Or Sniklson2000 And Ask Them Darn Self! Good Luck, NOT.

  • there is a warning system. I suggest you get a life and watch tv once in a while. (coming from someone who lives in alberta, I should know this)

  • I Do Watch TV. And I'm Not From Alberta. It Never Comes Up On TV. Ask Sniklson2000 For More Infromation To Put In Your Brain, Considering Your Brain Is Like a Black Hole. And I Already Have a Life thank You Very Much. That Was Very Kind To Point Out That "I Need To Get a Life And Watch TV."

    Thank You

  • i wasn't talking to you.

  • Sorry About that. I Thought U Were Talking To Me.

  • no prob

  • There is no such thing as Alberta Public Warnong System.

  • Yes There Is.

  • Oh I Get it It's in Canada

  • Yes, And Please Ignore lugnut33, She's Just Being Mean. (I'm Used to It From Here)

  • Have they ever had to use this for an ACTUAL warning?

  • yeah, search for the EPWS, they've had to do it for a few emergencies [including severe t'storms and tornadoes]

  • yup ive seen one, even though i don't live in alberta
