one tornado on july 4th and a storm Aug 1st that killed 2 and injured about 75,,,the warning system only works during the tests,,,,,,,,it hasnt worked during storms,,,,i was downstairs watching TV when the twister was above the neibhorhood,,,no warning except the weather channel said ,,,,,chance of hail and winds,,,but does anyone know why this system hasnt been warning us about these storms?

I'm just not surprised that this system doesn't work. In sask ...we have nothing at all. you at least have something that doesn't work. LOL

@Clayranger89: I don't think so. I'm no Canadian, but I know of a couple people who are{ever heard of Thunderbirds101?}, and apparently, it's in October.

{Black Friday happened on July 31, 1987, btw. The F4 tornado killed at least 24 people, not just in Edmonton, but a few surrounding areas as well.}
