Abbott also wrote a speech on climate change back in 2009 called "A Realist's Approach to Climate Change".

If you Google it, you'll find it on Abbott's website.

I've given a couple of examples already on this channel about some of the wastage that occurred under the Howard Government.

Both sides are guilty of it, but it doesn't mean we should blindly accept it either.

I've based my judgement on Windsor from watching numerous interviews with him - before and after the election (and the same with Abbott).

As for Abbott saying "bullshit" to Roxon, well, I don't have a problem with it EXCEPT Abbott was in the wrong and he knew it (ie he was late).

Abbott has a history of engaging his mouth before his brain - as his comments on the suicide attempt of fellow Liberal John Brogden proves.

Both Labor and Liberal parties are for it, while the Nationals seem to be very confused by it (caught between a rock and a hard place).

As for Windsor, let's not forget that he once had close ties to the Nats but they did the dirty on him and have been attacking him ever since.

The Nats (and Liberals) have done the same to Katter and Oakeshott.

@colindominy - I think Abbott needs to come clean about what he knew about Joyce's plan and when he was *first* advised that Joyce was planning a lockout.

Joe Hockey, usually a fairly reasonable chap in some regards, let it slip on TV that they had been having meetings with Qantas and that it had been discussed.

During an interview that Abbott gave, Abbott deflected the question and then did his usual running away trick.
