I wish I had video footage of the time when we shot off one of those "bad mother" things and after the first round it fell over and started to shoot AT us! All the neighbors and us were freaking out and running for cover...funny...after it was scary lol

not all dogs hate fireworks. my dog actually jumps up in the air when he sees them in the distance and barks. they excite him for some reason. he's weird, this i'm fully aware of. so the dog wasn't NECESSARILY barking because he was scared, he could have just been excited. whooooo knows?

I took a 3 mile hike up a hill above my town & counted more than 10 big fireworks shows at the same time, it was awesome. There were snakes out there on the trail. The California king snake, yikes!!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter cried out of uncontrollable fear when our neighbors did this. It scared her so bad that my mom had to take her inside while the old kids and us cheered our hearts out and I fang the national anthem. ^_^ Happy 4th of July and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY PARENTS, WHO HAVE BEEN MARRIED 31 years today (July 5th) AWESOME!!!
