  • So with the side shot through the barricade aren't you breaking 180?

  • Yes, it is a pistolgear barrel custom threaded by springer precision with .45 threads...

  • Do you have a threaded barrel on that XDM?

  • Good shootin Tex!

I really would like to get into comp. shooting.

Is this up at the range in Parleys??

I would really like to come out to a match and see what it's like.

    Thanks,

    Ty

  • @svkmrch75 I did. Message me if you need a hand with yours. PFI

  • Why the first referee keeps his hand on his pistol at all times??

  • You and your Dad" Both Kicked Butt!..Nothing like Going shooting With the People, Who Taught You How Priceless:D

  • Dude! What a fun video and great shooting! A local indoor range puts on an IDPA match every month. A friend of mine and I are going to try it for the first time next month. Thanks for the fun video. I would love to do something like that someday!

  • bloody nice shooting there pfidude, good times with the ol' man nothering betta again nice vid brew!

  • Cool vid. I was out there on a different squad that day. I just started shooting USPSA this February and am having a blast. I also record my vids. Check them out on my channel. I hope to shoot with you someday... keep the videos coming!

  • great shooting PFI

  • @bhbuckwheat Thanks for watching.

  • great job!

  • @SapponyTactical Thanks Sap, take care

  • @PFIDude ive wanted an sti for some time but i just cant justify spending that much on a pistol, they are super nice though

  • Dam fast PFIDude!! ;)

    Stephen

  • @83VF750F Thanks Sir, both for your support and for taking the time to watch.

  • looks like fun, nice work on the spinning targets

  • @excxflyr Ya...could have done better, but not a "bad" showing;)

  • I may have missed it, but what sights are you running on this gun?

I just ordered some Warrens and am excited to try them out. I ordered them with the tritium front and plain black rear, but I've heard the Warren fiber optic front is awesome for competition and daytime training. Have you used that one?

Nice shooting by the way, brother!

    S/F

  • @RetreatHell I am runnign the factory sights on the XDM. I will be mounting an optic mount and red dot to it soon as I have to shoot in the Open class because of the extended barrel anyway.

  • jesus christmas NICE SHOOTING!!! Still cute as ever, and it's awesome to see you and your dad wreck the range!!!

Also, is your dad wearing OC cans on his belt? Or are those some kind of colored mags?

Glad as ever I subbed, badass channel as always!!

    <3 Rachel

  • @NinjaGirlRachel Thanks Rach! Those are mag pouches on his belt. He was shooting a new gun and I had to round up some pouches to fit the new mags and so they were a couple different colors.

  • Great vid looks like a lot of fun sorry I missed it.

  • Nice vid. Looks like a fun match with great stages!

  • The timer had his hand on his firearm for no other reason than to keep it from falling out of his holster while he was running around behind the shooters. Probably more of a reaction than an actual need.

  • That looks incredibly fun, thanks for the video.

  • This is a nice coarse setup.

  • Good times, PFI, good times!

  • Most of the problem with the gun as I was shooting it, came about due to the fact that we hadn't tuned the factory STI mags to prevent premature slide lock with ammo left in the mag. That, along with some light reloads (gun needs some spring work) that we typically use during Bowling Pin shoots, certainly caused me some grief. Besides, if I would have shot a clean round, I would have beat PFIDude's overall time and nobody likes their Dad whooping thier butt! Old Guys Rule!

  • @nl9207 Yep, next time we will have that STI running smooth, some guns just take a little tweaking to run the lighter loads reliably. Then we will take a look at the overall times...when you don't have gun problems to fall back on;)

  • Thanks so much for sharing that PFI. I really enjoyed seeing this. Great to see you dad mixing things up as well!

  • @Patriot36 It is a great day when family and friends can get together and take advantage of the 2nd amendment freedoms we love! Thanks for watching.

  • why does the guy with the timer have his hand his pistol? Great video!

  • @philathea80 not sure? I didn't notice that but I will watch it again and see what you are talking about.

  • Finally! No more shotguns!

  • @IamaRifle What? You don't like Saiga Shotguns;) What would you rather see?

  • @PFIDude I love your Saiga videos. Please continue them. Here in Europe we are not allowed to own guns. So, I'm pleased to see you shooting!

  • @lordmexxx Maybe you should consider coming to the US and becoming a citizen. We could always use another voter for gun rights. Very sad that Europe has devolved into the condition it has. The freedom fighters of WW2 gave to Nazis hell while they were occupying Europe. The elites know they can't control the population if it is armed and willing to fight for it's freedom. I promise you that the USA will ALWAYS be free and safe from those that would do us harm.

  • @PFIDude I'm just tired of seeing them sir. As long as you are going to throw some lead down range, I would like to see what types of rifles you have. If the majority of your viewers don't like that, then by all means go back to the saiga.

  • @IamaRifle These videos are not just about what the viewers like, they are for the customers that bought the firearms. We include these videos as part of the package deal if they want a filmed test fire. Sorry you are getting bored with them, and I will try to keep "other" types of vids rolling out as well. Thanks for watching.

  • @PFIDude Not a problem.

  • Looks like a lot of fun. I'll have to try one of these out for noobies if you know a good one in central Texas. Thanks for posting!

  • Awesome video! Thanks for sharing with all of us.

  • @USNERDOC Thanks Doc, I just packed up your order today....few extra goodies to make good on my friendship dues;) Hope all is well with you and the fam, and we will be in touch shortly. B

  • Oh how I wish my range was set up like this and ran things like this... You can only shoot at a 12x12 paper target so much before you get bored.

  • @LotusKnives This range is normally a sit/stand in one spot and shoot type range, but they allow clubs to take over all the other bays and run matches as long as our RO's are certified by the range. B

  • Go PFIDude go lol looks like a lot of fun man..... nice job.

  • Nice vid, you guys have a nice set up. Just got a good group of people to start putting together practical shooting matches at my local club. Looks like a ton of fun, can't wait.

  • This is one surely good video PFI. What seems to be the problem w/ the jam??? Thanks for sharing!!!!!

  • @ian3265 Thanks for the compliment. The jam is caused by light loads and not tuning the STI to cycle them properly. We were pressed for time and I didn't get a chance to tune it before the match. B

  • @ian3265 I feel your pain, the show was great to watch, but I had to wonder about some of the competitors myself. Like the cowboy shooter that can't hit anything with a revolver??? B

  • Great vid/run guys!! Looks like your dad's had a couple of lock ups.

I can totally see how the planning 2-4 steps ahead in something like this DEFINITELY correlates into something like the Sledge. Focusing on the task at hand, yet keeping your vision forward to the the next few steps....

    Nice work!

  • @74Hobbes Thanks Hobbes, you absolutely need thinking ahead if you want to pull in a good run. I get caught focusing too hard and it takes a small amount of time to break concentration and start moving again....each small amount adds up. Take care Bro. B

  • PFIDude is this the style of shooting you do when not runin with tnp crew? If so what other styles of matches do you do? This is awesome thanks for the vid!

  • @joey0870 I try to mix it up, and this is one style. I also shoot 3-Gun matches, and defensive pistol matches. I am hoping to film a 3-Gun match in a few weeks. B

  • Nice shooting man! Is that a 40 round magazine?

  • @Yebache Thanks! Just the same 20 Round Drum we always use, not sure I would want to carry a loaded 40 rounder:) B

  • Saw you in TNP's sledgehammer video...good work mang.

  • @BlueCollarSurvival Thanks you! TNP shoots are a blast. B

  • Great video I hope you can film more of these in the future.

  • @BENLINUZ I plan to whenever I get a chance to get out and shoot a match. I have a 3 gun next month and hopefully I will be able to film it too. B

  • My Dad and I did a tactical shotgun match together one time and we had a great time. Dad was hampered by the fact he was shooting a single shot 12 gauge but I was impressed by how well he handled it. Anyway looks like you two had a great time.

  • This was a great vid! Thanks for sharing PFIDude! I always enjoy these kinds of meets...always a lot of fun!

  • Nice job, guys! Beach and I are planning to try some action shooting later this weekend - something new, hopefully fun!

  • Awesome

  • you need to make more video like this they are fun to watch. good job good shooting B

  • Cool!

  • looks like a good day

  • That looks like a lot of fun. Nice vid.

  • Very cool you guys... I would like to start doing here at my local range..

  • looks like a workout all that squatting and such.. would absolutely suck if you have to take a crapXD good shooting btw... maybe you try out for the next season of top shot... Hopefully get alot more people on that show who can actually shoot...

  • @vampire847 My application is already in......oops, did I say that our loud.....errr type it out loud;) B

  • @PFIDude i hope you make it dude... I mean some of those "experts" WERE HORRID! I am not a good shot but i mean come on these guys are spous to be the "top shot" I wish they had people like tom knapp and patrick flannagin on a show like that! also you would think that anyone who considers themselves marksmen would have experience with a every firearm honestly what kinda shooter doesn't shoot shotguns, pistols, and rifles? good luck! if you get on make em use pfidude on tv not yer real name

  • Brian, I wish that I had a friend like you that shot at competitions.

  • PFIDude Kicking ass like always

  • that looks awesome. were do i sign up!

  • @131rocketman Where do you live and I can get you the info;) B

  • that is indeed very impressive, keep it rockin PFIDUDE

  • rock on man yall were tearin that crap apart lol, that looks like a blast!

  • @delta2131 It is a great time and a bunch of great people. Thanks for taking time to watch. B

  • @PFIDude pleasure was all mine lol, though they should have made yall do the bed thing. honey, some ones in the house... | ~_~ |

  • +Tha+t was some great shooting

  • Looks like PFI is using a XDM. Could be wrong though.

  • @gsx1138 You are correct, XDM 40. B

  • Now we know why the mags are always falling in the run N guns wuth Nutn. Great stuff.

  • @thenerdsgetchicks This is true, I had never used a dump pouch until Nutn convinced me to try it. B

  • Really nice run and gun pistol course.

    And great shooting.

Would be nice if you annotated what pistol was being used, but I understand It's hard to keep track of stuff like that I'm just curious.

  • @BuffaloWarrior7 I just updated the video information with the guns we were shooting. It would be a mess trying to keep track of what all the shooters were using. I still have at least one more part to this vid with all new shooters too. Thanks, B

  • @PFIDude Awesome dude I'll look forward to it.

  • good stuff and fun with dad.awesome

  • Wow awesome, thanks for filming all of that for us here on Youtube!

  • @NPSurvival Filming is the easy part....editing is the part I hate;) Thanks for watching, B

  • Awww man that looks like a lot of fun. You should try to convince nutn to put up something like this :D

  • Awesome vid. Thanks for posting.

  • NICE JOB GUYS, GOOD SHOOTHING!

  • @cadrician Thanks for watching!

  • Cool video PFIDude! What was going on with your dad's gun, was it failing to feed?

  • @isellchickens

I'm going to guess he was using reloads. All the guns I saw jammed at my USPSA match was because of reloaded ammo. It happens.

  • @gsx1138 You are correct, reloads can cause problems, but I case check each round by hand before I take them to a match, so I get very few failures because of the ammo. I was running the same rounds in my XDM. His STI needs some tuning and we just didn't have time to work it before the match. Thanks for watching. B

  • @isellchickens The STI he was shooting is brand new, and I didn't have time to tune it ot you loads he was shooting. They were reloads with less powder than factory and I should have changed the spring.....Oh well, it was still a great time.
