can someone explain the ending of the girl with the dragon tattoo. cause when i watch it, it just cut off with a clifhanger. What happen to her, what was that murder on the news, will she ever recover on being freindzoned?
You know, I've hovered over this movie many times while browsing Netflix, and kept eventually passing over it to view something else like Chocolat (Which was entertaining to watch a young autistic girl kick peoples ass). Now I'm gonna have to watch this when I have internet back on at my house. -Nomad
@NSGU Go rent it! It is amazing. Just make sure you are watching it in Japanese and not Korean. Our copy of the DVD defaults to Korean for some reason even though the film was made in Japanese.
Please read the books. They are awesome. The only thing I have to mention about them is that the translation looses some of the meaning, but they're still amazing. Also the book explains a lot more.. and is even longer. But if you like reading I think you'll like the books.
@ShoelacePorn My aunt has all of them so I'll borrow them from her when I finish the books I'm reading now. I love reading so the length shouldn't be a problem.
Technically American films are foreign. But that's if you are getting technical. I don't agree with a lot of categories of film (like how most animes get lumped into cartoon or childrens section). It's just one of those odd human nature things where we must categories and lump everything into a category that is the closest to what the thing is....if that makes any sense. It's really early and I need more tea. lol
That was an awesome review. I enjoyed it a lot and your going to love the sequels. They are just as amazing. To me the second one is the best of the 3, but all like you said are almost perfect.

Pass on the other two films. The first one's the gem, but the later two are never going to live the first one's standards.

@coolstream1 - Do you call them "Illegal Immigrant Films"?

@ydnab I just call them movies. *trollface*
coolstream1 6 months ago
@coolstream1 I'm from Canada and they are from Sweden. Thus they are a foreign film. It's just a category of film.
amberlapointe1987 6 months ago
@amberlapointe1987 You're Canadian (as am I) so should we call American films foreign as well?
I'm not trying to troll you or anything, I really like your reviews, I just don't like the bullshit illogical category of film that is "foreign"
It's like Indie music... >:(
