People, I have payed money for this game, and it is indeed the worst fps ever made. Let me explain...

The game was made using the outdated Build engine. By the time it game out in 1998, Goldeneye was already out a year earlier meaning the graphics are garbage. The AI in this game have NEAR PERFECT AIMING, meaning if they shoot you, your dead, and half the time they run straight into the corner of a wall. Also the music is just bizarre, listen to it yourself.

@Kreastricon62 I don't think the Quake 2 or Unreal engine would have made this game any better. It just looks like bad art and bad design period. It's going to be bad no matter what engine it has - and in 1998 people were still playing Duke 3D multiplayer because Unreal's spec requirement was too damn high.

Though I have a bias for the build engine. It was easy to make maps for, almost as easy as Saurbraten. There's something divine about modeling 3d environments with line segments.

They pretty much crapped the Duke Nukem engine for this game. Team mates always getting stuck in walls, rendering them useless to switch to. The front end mechanism was pretty interesting though. Makes a "savegame" to play, then the engine plays it to a win or loss, then the front end reads the resulting savegame to recover the outcome. The AI scripts were made into shit, and if you tried to put in something from Duke Nukem, they acted shittier, which was why they were left out.
