I traveled in some of those planes in not very far away past over the jungle. Looking this video and when the engines sounds my heart really beats. Those are brave pilots that knowes how to navigate with no electronic helps under very difficults conditions. I remember an emergency we had when we loose one engine!!!

Thank you very much for this video. The plane, you show is a C-47 model as noted by the cargo doors. This plane, designated as the Dakota by Britain, is the sister plane to the DC-3, a passenger ship, which had a single access door at the rear. Otherwise they are identical. They are some of the most beautiful planes in the world, and I remember when they flew in service here in the U.S.A.. Watch the 1950's movie "Back From Eternity" to see a DC-3 actually star in a movie.

Contrale este video está en verdad muy bueno, pero no se cual es la razón de ponerle musica a estos trabajos, para mi los echan a perder porque es preferible escuchar el rugir de esos motores con toda su fuerza a estar escuchando musica.

La verdadera fuerza del video que es el rugir de los motores se los quitaron para poner musica y justo cuando encendían los motores quitaron el ruido de ellos para poner la musica, TREMENDO ERROR.

ya averigue sobre el 3348P este avion si fue llevado a venezuela.. y se nacionalizo con matricula YV era el YV-1179C y los perros miserables muertos de hambre de la policia aeroportuaria de maiquetia destruyeron el avion porque para ellos era chatarrra y no servia :@ HP .. pilotos de colombia.. cuidado con esos tipos. este video es el dc-3 en vida. actualmente esta detruido y no existe. chavistas de shit :@ haciendo lo q le da la gana con lo ajeno. ejemplo este dc-3.

Yes - the plane has been rebuilt to go into regular service with a normal airline, not as a museum exhibit, that's one reason I was so fascinated. The avionics had to be updated because of safety regulations and in order to get a certificate to carry passengers (and chickens) today.
