I am all for the Strike Force series, Finally something totally different then Classic DW which we've been playing for 10 years with about 30 different titles. I own Strikeforce 1 and I hope they release 2 in the U.S. as well. It seems DW7 is going to have big monsters too, cool >:)

@ ffox91 Actually is not "Super Saiyan" , it's called Fury Mode (after you fill your Fury Gauge) and enables your character to pull off his/her musou (special) attack at the cost of his/her musou (magic). Obviously you haven't played this game before to come to such conclusions.

Cai Wenji. In the history, she was suppose to be some composser and a poet.

In DW6 Empires, she appear as an edit character and ask for help if u encounter her in the battlefield (mercenary mission)

@ThoriaBladecadas DW6 was a huge improvement for characters, and the features of a more open-world system. That's what makes Koei so good. They take one good game, and keep improving it until it's at it's best. I'm sure as soon as they get it just right, they'll go back to the original name of Dynasty Warriors, and leave it that way. Once that's done, they could make real sequels/prequels to the game. It's called Dynasty Warriors after all, so they'll try something besides ROTK eventually.

For starters loads of characters were taken out of the game and tons of our favorites had their looks and weapons changed for no good reason! You're very unlikely to find a single Zhou Tai fan who thinks changing his weapon was an improvment or Lu Xun fans (not to mention, Ling Tong fans, Zhou Yu fans, Cao Pi fans, Lei Bei fans etc) having their characters looking like children or afeminate.

@ThoriaBladecadas Yeah, I didn't like those changes either. For example, I was hooked on Sun Ce's tonfas. But I still prefer the realism. Tonfas are good for kicking ass on the street, yeah. But for war? You'd get sliced up in seconds. Da Qiao was a bumber for me. They should've let her stay, but Peng De, I didn't really have an interest in. I don't think Jiang Wei really deserved a Musou character. I still want to see characters like Wen Chou and Yan Liang as Musou characters.

@ThoriaBladecadas And Cao Pi was really young in the games, so that understandable. Liu Bei was older than Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, so they need to make him older. Lu Xun, and Ling Tong were pretty young as well. Zhou Yu's and Zhou Tai's new weapons made me mad though, so you're right about them. Something that Koei needs to do is bring in an aging process for the characters, making them look younger or older based on the circumstances of their time in the Three Kingdoms era.

But the makers and still creating new DW games with the same vintage gameplay after the release of the first strikeforce. DW7 for example, This is made to attract different types of gamers, The battles are more one to one and boss orientated. Not quite, KOEI wanted her to have the twin batons, so she's going to have them. You can change her weapon with a fan as her sub-weapon, but her main weapon's always going to be the twin batons.

Shi Huang Di's Voice actor is not the same as the one who did Kiyomori Taira. He was the one who did Sun Wukong, in other words, the guy that did the voice for Shi Huangdi is Rikiya Koyama.
