brave new world was great and reminded me of old maiden. this whole album is so slow, i almost forget who the band is honestly.

@nelsoncards I wouldn't say it's horrible..the only horrible thing they've released was Virtual XI in my opinion..amolad had many great songs[different world,the pilgrim,for the greater good of god,these colours don't run etc.]it's just that these two albums are a bit too ''progressive''for maiden standards.and it's a little weird..but I actually like the album..though I can't make up my opinion having listened to it only one time..I need way more

Bruces singing style has changed but he's not that young guy who can belt out those high notes like he used to. His voice has matured with age and he's had to adapt because of it. Every song is slow? Are we listening to the same album? Sure the intros are but they transition into each song nicely and most of the songs do get faster. Did you expect Maiden to start playing thrash metal or something? Go and listen to Slayer or Kreator if you want speed.

ofcourse i will buy this album this weekend its just that i will have to get aquanted with it just like brave new world (which happens to be an excellent album.

@nelsoncards I know how you feel mate, I'd love to see another Powerslave or Number of the Beast and Bruce has proved he can do them live. On the other hand I LOVE this album I love Maiden's newer proggy stuff as much as the 80s stuff. My perfect album would be something half Powerslavey and half Final Frontier/AMOLAD.

its a good album in my opinion but something is wrong with Bruces voice i think he was better in a matter of life and death. dont get me wrong im not saying something bad but it seems like his vocals changed since the last album. also they dont do that much of heavy riffs or maybe im not used to it yet. maybe its just a feeling cuz something seems very diffrient in this album to me.

If you attended one of the US shows, i know for damn sure bruce got up and promoted this new album, and odds are you were screaming your lungs out when he said he needed our help to make Iron Maiden number 1 in the U.S. So go out and buy the album, its a damn shame if they dont make it up there in the charts. yeah this was my favourite off the leak. it's still my favourite. it sounds like a song from bruce's solo albums and it's so beautiful. i adore it. one of my favourites (beside starblind, the talisman and when the wild wind blows).
