To be honest, Noomi made Lisbeth sexy, but Rooney made Lisbeth real, visceral, accurate, believable, and oddly attractive. Both are on opposite sides of an emotional spectrum, and I actually like Rooney's interpretation more because it was closer to how I imagined and what I believed Larsson envisioned. Both are great adaptations, of course I will always be a bigger fan of the book.

@Blacktolite I liked this version more (even though, I loved Noomi Rapace's portrayal). For some reason I though that Lizbeth has to be somewhat unattractive, with all of the informality, wearing black and piercings and tattoos. She is different and she doesn't want people to be drawn to her - that's what I think, at least.
