for any physical activity you do, no matter what it is, always warm up the places you're gonna work with. you didnt help me very much with this vid but i hope youll help others to prevent from injury.
You could prevent this by sitting while you do stuff. If you can keep your wrists straight, those neurons won't bother your carpal tunnel(s). That's how typists and pianists avoid it. Hope that helps. I am a pianist and I practice A LOT. In six years I have only felt that twinge once when I was on a spree of practicing like 5 hours at once
what's funny is that i do all of those things(except dice stacking, because i don't have the materials for it) like practically all the time, so thanks for the reminder! Also once i felt a twinge in my wrists, but then 3 secondslater, i felt better, but thanks anyway!
Yeah, sorry, but you're gonna want to take it easy for a while. It may just be tendonitis, but if it continues too long, you may want to get it checked out in case it's carpal tunnel syndrome. Either way, you should take at least a week off.
LMAO sorry for laughing but lol i ended up carpel tunnel(both wrists) after typing too much...i feel your pain...but i dont think there is a cure for carpel tunnel...how are your wrist doing?
yea umm no efence but i think my mom or step dad would worn me if i would get that cuz my step dad is a super viser of an abulence company and my mom works at thew hospital so i think the kno a little more about that then u
4 1 thing w.e how u spell it runs in most families and 4 another thing ive been stacking 4 nine monthes almost non stop and i havent had any problems
Yeah, umm, no offence, but I think my Mom or stepdad would warn me if I'm likely to get that because my stepdad is a superviser at an ambulance company and my Mom works at the hospital so I think they know a little more about that than you. For one thing, it mostly runs in families and for another, I've been stacking for nine months almost non-stop and I haven't had any problems.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I was appalled at your grammar and spelling. Anyway, yes, it mostly runs in families, and women are more likely to get it than men, and some people just have very wide carpal tunnels so they don't have to worry about it. Still, there's no reason not to be careful. RSI, which can mean tendonitis, also, something for which everyone's at risk, can sneak up on you, even right under anyone's nose. Just take some breaks, that's all.
I'm very surprised to find this sort of attitude in a fellow stacker. Politeness is very important to your mental health, and you can be polite in any situation. I encourage you to check my channel on the 5th of November.
To get them as a set, you have to get them in a group order (yes, it's stupid), but you can also get them (at much higher expense) from the speed stacks website by buying twelve replacement solars, of whichever color you like.
both to protect your wrists and to get exposure to other things. I practice a heck of a lot, but I leave a load of time for other things, too. Come to think of it, there's a lot I do, but I still always have free time. I think my day is longer than other people's.
Taking frequent breaks. Don't do a hundred solves in a row. cut it off at about 25, take a break for about 5-10 minutes, then get right back to it. Just keep wrist stress to a minimum. It may also help to stretch your wrists before doing any of these activities.
thanks for your information man, sucks about your wrists, but it shows your dedication to sport stacking and how much it means to you, and i respect that. :D

Thanks for the info... so sports wraps are good? Is there anything else (other than sports wraps) that might help?

Taking frequent breaks. Don't do a hundred solves in a row. cut it off at about 25, take a break for about 5-10 minutes, then get right back to it. Just keep wrist stress to a minimum. It may also help to stretch your wrists before doing any of these activities.
