She is being strong, tears are real, they come from consciousness connection with heart. Its weakness to cover them up. But old ideas of whats tough and whats weak take time to fade. Its amazing that all the phony tough and crazy brave cause all the problems in the long run. If you can't cry, you can't have real and genuine joy. Its always some kind of narcissistic take that feeds the compromised self.
