IIHF tournaments are boring and get no attention at all, why do we send our players to those events I don't know.

@TadiR1 mabye for u, in europe NHL isnt getting any attention cos its boring...and almost half of it made thanks to players from europe :) Such a shame that canada cant play good hockey anymore and USA...thers no need for words :D

Crosby, Richards, Toews, Keith, Seabrook, Nash. Dude no wonder Europeans win it when only 1 player from team Canada Vancouver 2010 attend the tournament.

And do you really like BIG ICE better? Please explain to me what's better? It's like soccer, too much room for player to kill time instead of play. And European referees Call penalty if you sneeze. LOL

@TadiR1 1) I think that IHWC should not be held in an Olympic year but please do understand that just because you pay attention to SC playoffs it doesn't mean that the rest of the world doesn't care about IHWC. 2) As for big ice, 61x30 m is perhaps too big but NHL-sized rink on the other hand is too small. There is almost no room to make plays and although there's a lot of 1-on-1 battles, the average game is a mess. 200 by 92 feet, as used in the Finnish league would be best.
