  • i am extremely impressed

  • I simply adore this song.

  • And if this song doesn't do it for you (because it IS more poppy then their other songs), go listen to Ego Death and you'll see what i mean. Please listen to this song with headphones for maximum effect...there are some trippy things going on....

  • Yeah as a hardcore ex NIN fan I'm not impressed with How to Destroy Angels, maybe it's my craving for Trent's voice & lyrical emotion. I saw APTBS open for NIN at American Airlines Center back in 09'...After the lead singer entangled himself in his instrument wires the crowd went silent as they watched him try to untangle himself for 10 minutes....It was very awkward. By the time Trent came out with 1,000,000's bass hitting our chests everyone formed an insane wave, the rest is historyyy.

  • Amazing sound..lyrics are icing on the cake..really big tune NYC chyeaaa

  • Please listen to this song with headphones.....there is so much going on that you miss with speakers...you won't be disappointed =) This guy is the Trent Reznor of our generation....god I love this band

  • @dateacha33

you say it as though Trent Reznor isn't around anymore.

  • @Joeanderson7340 So in that regard, I have been chasing the pill that was those 3 albums for the past 20 years. APTBS' two albums are filled with glorious reverb, wailing guitars and synth lines that give me goosebumps. My brother once said there is music that you listen to & then you listen to in an "altered state" and finally go "Oh I damn that was awesome". These are those albums.

  • @dateacha33 umm Trent is still around and is still making music, even has a new project "How to Destroy Angels" with his wife.

  • @epicchaos Yes I know Trent is still making music (I have every album)....but lets be honest, he hasn't put out a good album in a long time. My point saying APTBS is the next Trent Reznor, a statement that received quite a few responses, was that when NIN released Pretty Hate Machine, they brought electro-industrial rock to the mainstream. There are few musicians and bands that can ever say they have done that. The two APTBS albums had the same effect on me as PHM, Broken & Downward Spiral.

  • @dateacha33 get better speakers

  • Please listen to this song with headphones.....there is so much going on that you miss with speakers...you won't be disappointed =)

  • Heaveeeeeeeeeeeeeengive me a sign!

  • lmao cant believe i found out about this band from a book!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Pastrygurl123 They're in a book?!

  • @thedimestoresaint lol yah...i4got wich book tho,xD

  • unbelievable lyrics!!! the music is just awsesome, but the lyrics tell a story that mean a lot to me right now!!! gonna see them for sure live this thursday!!!

  • Woooooohooooooooo

  • Doesnt matter what kinda band you hear in this song (I hear Blur - Song 2), it's a track I'd like to hear on the dancefloor someday. The 'South Central Remix' is a good alternate version aswell!

  • This song makes me want to smoke.

  • This is actual post-punk revival, most indie bands that have some form of post-punk influence only have one foot in the door and are more interested in having an indie rock sound. I much prefer this, as it is true to actual post-punk.

  • smells like hipsters

  • This video deserves a lot more than 75,000 views. Do yourself and the band a favor and buy Exploding Head NOW

  • TRUE Post- Punk reviival

  • great song, the video seem like a big ad for /Death by Audio/ pedals,

  • this so reminds me of the 80's.

  • buenisimo!

  • any fan of depeche mode thinks they're listening to Shake The Disease.

  • A Place To Bury Strangers kicks ass!!!

    ...I Feel SO GOOOD

  • Daaamn.....such an addicting track. APTBS are becoming one of my fav. shoegaze/noise bands. I love the way how they mix the sound of noise rock with the tempo and beats of post-punk, makes For people who love noisy stuff like this; Check out The Jesus and Mary Chain Gang - Psycho Candy. NOISSSSEEEEE!

  • If there was a band to compare to APTBS, it would be Joy Division.

  • @worksofbrettking

Check the Jesus and Mary Chain Gang. Really neat 80s Noiserock band. :) But indeed, APTBS have a post-punky sound as well just like Joy Division...

  • @worksofbrettking

I don't think that as much. If anything, it would be the band Oliver was in prior to starting APTBS -- Skywave. After Skywave broke up, Oliver formed this band, and John and the other person formed the band Ceremony.

If there is any band to compare to Joy Division, it would be New Order.

  • @TNPMP Well, considering that New Order is Joy Division sans Ian Curtis...

  • @worksofbrettking : LMAO... are u serious??

  • im so in love with that girl

  • : : V I D E O D R O M E : :

  • Gran video, gran tema, enorme banda. Ruidosisimos pedales!!!

  • APTBS - Keeping my parents away from my room since 2007.

  • @SimppaK91 LOL!!!

  • @SimppaK91 more likely it's the smell and their disappointment in you

  • this is my fav aptbs track def...

  • I touched his crotch at Death by Audio

  • Nice girl.

And of course great album, I got it as soon as it came out.

  • cool song

  • Dammit I never get tired of this song.

  • death by audio ad? :)

  • I hear the Jesus and Mary Chain and the Stone Roses. They are retro cool!!

  • Epic video

  • GREAT BAND, GREAT SOUND - NOISE

  • Any band hugely influenced by the Cure is OK in my books, plus I think they've got their sond right. Influenced but still unique.

  • I fuckin' love APTBS but i have to admit their more songs are a "little" (for be gentle) copie paste ...

I know i'll see you = In a hole of Jesus and Mary chain ...

Keep slipping away = scream babies of The Cure ...

near plagia for I know i'll see you ...

  • muy buen video muy buena cancion UN LUGAR PARA ENTERRAR EXTRAÑOS ... el nuevo SONIDO del shoegaze .

  • i like the song, and i like the video, but this is too much of a blatant rip off of "the baby screams" off the head on the door album by the cure. i just cant get over the resemblance. i wanna hate this band, but i'll give them a chance. i saw them on worcester, ma public access tv, lol.

  • stupid video. in the 80's they hadn't discovered that boy and girl can play wii sports and rock band together, lol ;)

(i'm just kidding, pretty cool vid, no lynch mobs pls!)

  • This is great great great. Cinematography is excelent:)

  • This bears an eerie similarity to "The Baby Screams" by the Cure. With much more fuzz of course.

  • @alexrcgeek My friend and I hear it too. Still, a great song. This is definitely my favorite.

  • MOAR NOISE =)

  • i ♥ this band. their music reminds me of the "alternative rock genre" / old school k-roq

  • this is so....lsd :D

  • a place to bury strangers do a "story" music video??could have gone so wrong, but its actually really good!a band never to be underrated.

  • Lol my science teacher showd me that :O

  • @Unrated48 I luuuv my science teachers too!!!

  • Loving it!

  • This cheers me up!

  • See, now this is truly tough as nails! It's things like this that give music videos a good name!

  • great song from a great band... included in a great album (exploding head)

  • How did the t.v. keep playing although it wasn't attached to anything? I'm sure i'm missing out on something technologically..

Anyway, pretty cool video, nice effects. The song's pretty cool, too. I like it.

  • Ever heard of the green screen effect?
