Meat Loaf does rock opera. He has a theatrical voice and started out in theater. I think he did great. Sounded like Meat Loaf. Plus he has sold over 80 million records and Bat 1 is the 3rd largest selling rock album of all time. He is one of the original rock gods. Katharine is good but I don't think she's is ever going to come close to that. Not many will. He is still packing the people in for his concerts. I wonder what she will be doing when she is 60 years old.

As we all know now, his handlers were killing him slowly one day at a time by overworking him to the point where he sounded like he did on this show. As a lifelong Meatloaf fan, it was heartbreaking for me to watch. But luckily he finally figured it out and fired every one of them. Listen to him now. Gotta love how people are fishing for excuses for Meatloaf's god awful vocal and performance. Meatloaf himself decided to blame his bad performance on everyone else but himself. Hell...he even tried to blame it on Katharine, who had a very good vocal. Meatloaf tried to also say it was "performance anxiety, tech issues, setup issues, etc. Basically...he tried to blame it on anything possible. Just accept it...it was a horrible performance. Every artist has some of them.
