But if you notice on the opening of the track "Ben Zanotto" by Rancid (of course), Lars was claiming that "There was romance in the air for sure, there was romance in the air." while the song was in fact about Ben Zanotto. I'm not entirely sure if that pertained to him, but just using clues, I'm guessing saying that line in a song about a man would probably have to do with a more intimate relationship with him. Just saying, not entirely sure.

The Good thing is Rancid. They're one of the many great bands to come out of Nor Cal. If there are any Giants fans on here. Good luck in the playoffs if you even make it. all the skaters in nyc were punks when i was a kid (mid-80's). They were not posers since they're style, and music were still not considered cool by the mainstream. They were a legitimate menace, in a good way. Long before skateparks, and hot topics. Still I wouldn't waste anytime being nostalgic about a culture you were too young to be a part of. nostalgia was lame when I was a kid, no one wanted to relive the 70's or 60's, we had geniune cultural innovation.
