the movie was good if you're really loyal to the game, and the final fantasy franchize. as a standalone, with out the knowledge of what came before, advent children does leave much to be desired. that being said, doesn't mean i don't like it, cause i do. i'm just saying, i can see why he'd say that. it sure is pretty though!
