I have moderate to severe Crohn's disease. No medication other than Prednisone seems to work. I have tried Humira, Remicade and a myriad of other drugs. I am looking into specific diets for Crohns. What foods should I base my diet off of? I know that everyone is different, but some things work for the majority. What about Cats Claw and other herbs? Which herbs do I need to take, how much do I take and in what form? Help.
I got cured from holistic medecine last time I had a relapse. One gets tired off this schoolmedecine after a decade or so. I have had crohns for 30 years and now I cure it by myself. Schoolmedecine dont offer any solutions does it? Just amputations and amputations and you can realise where that is leading.
some people have crohns a bit worse than other people, i have had 6 major operations when i refused to let them practice on me anymore lol, and im always in pain, ive had every test so many times ive lost count and the doctors tell my im fine because they can not see it with there eyes, if i ask for help for pain, im accused of bein a druggy and told to take paracitamol. as if that will help
i have had ct scans ,colonoscopys, blood work, ultra sounds, and about to have xrays where i have to drink stuff where i be all lite up, but they still cant find out whats wrong with e yet....i have afew syemtems of each some ..
Good Video.I was diagnosed with crohns 32 years ago! at the age of 15. I have 3 lovely children, c-sections due to abcess in first pregnancy. I last had surgery 15 years ago, and am going in for a right hemicolectomy in july 2009. I am really well otherwise. There are times when I have wailed 'why me' I've always hated the exposing of my bottom to all!
(especially at 15) My weight dropped to about 6 stone at 15, and I was underweight until my pregnancies, I now come in at 11stone.
i'm 28 and have been diagnosed with CD when I was 18,I've got no life...the worst thing is that my joints have been attacked too and can't walk, belly is swollen and pain is unbearable,I don't get any financial help from the goverement in my great country,I'm loosing jobs all the time...
i met many with crohns at the hospital when i got remicade for it, nice to talk to people that have it and how they deal with it, especialy sence the symptoms are so different from people to people. i have had it for about two years and in august they dad to cut out two sections of my small intestence, now all the pain is gone, and i had much pain, and i function allmost perfect now. luck to you.
yeah i got chrons but only sideffect is taht i cant gain weight, i saw on the bbc news the other day that space food reduces the inflamation, they were trying it on this fat kid (i mean FAT, looked like he never missed a meal or seconds or thirds) they said that he couldnt eat and had to have IV drip but they used spacefood and it worked.
Very Interesting. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1995 - I'm lucky and have had very few problems since then - so it's not all doom and gloom. Very informative video - thanks!
