i played it on a plasma hdtv 1080i yv on the 360 at sams club and the grahics are blurry and look really fake, that discourage me to buy it for my 360, also while i was at sams club there was two wireless controllers in a pack for 74.99 american!
EA sucks and always will suck. They are well known for buying perfectly good licenses and games and running them into the mud. Example : UltimaOnline, and Sierra's Nascar Sim. Oh did i also mention that they bought out the NFL license. I guess they couldnt compete with ESPNs football series that allows 1-8 players online. Or QB club, Segasports...Im not knocking folks who like EA, i just wish EA would stop ruining other games for the other gamers :(
Got it for ps2 and it's almost identical to 07. This review was for ps3 or 360 judging by the graphics. Not that impressed with the ps2 version and this is coming from a true footbal fan who has bought Madden everyday on it's release date since 99.

Bigger is better right? If you want to make the best Madden team you should find the biggest bodies in the game and then up the attributes right? It also would make sense to move the TE's (since they're bigger) to the WR spots. Wouldn't be better to have a 300 pound wideout to run a comeback route or block if the QB decides to take off?

This game could have been so great if only there weren't so many fumbles!!! I was playing as my beloved Seahawks in a preseason game and I managed to fumble about 10 times. It's just so aggravating as you know it's inevitable and there's nothing you can do about it.
Also, is it just me or does every quarterback turn into Ryan Leaf when they get into the redzone???

EA sucks and always will suck. They are well known for buying perfectly good licenses and games and running them into the mud. Example : UltimaOnline, and Sierra's Nascar Sim. Oh did i also mention that they bought out the NFL license. I guess they couldnt compete with ESPNs football series that allows 1-8 players online. Or QB club, Segasports...Im not knocking folks who like EA, i just wish EA would stop ruining other games for the other gamers :(

It might "rock" to you, but it doesn't a 9.Too many things wrong with it (int's,glitches,etc)to warrant that high a rating.

Do you have to hold down a button to activate the weapons mode on a player or does it do it automatically?

Weapon jsut means they are rated very high (97 or above i think) in one category they dont have special abilities. esample: if theyre hit power is 97+, they are a big hitter and if a QBs THP is 97+ they are called a cannon arm QB. the label doesnt allow them to do anything special
