you seem to have gone out of your way to find the most labor intensive method possible to build a small cabin; how many tractors and crawlers did it take 5? and all for naught as there is no foundation it will rot into the earth in slow motion, maybe you could post a video of that next.
That thing shifts slightly every time they add a log and supported by load-bearing ropes...I'd be a little nervous for my safety, but i definitely eager to see the finish product.
Interesting. Not how I'd have done it. But that is what a determined and ambitious man is capable of doing. Maybe there is a reason most start from the ground up rather then the roof down.
Great job so far. It is surprising how much time it takes to build one of these. Your roof system looks amazing and I look foreward to seeing more of your project. This is a cool video and It's great to see a one man project.
Excellent!!! this is the perfect marriage of technology and ancient building methods!! as it should be!!! I am a natural builder myself and I would love the ability to move massive timber like this!!!
Hey, nice work.. I'm building my own roundhouse in a forest in Ireland.. Unfortunately I can't get vehicles into the site so I'm doing it all by hand.. I'm jealous of your tractors :)

WTF... this should be labeled "How not to build a cabin." Could you pick a more dangerous way to build?

That is some serious woodsmithing. Really like all your machines. I wish you could post some pics of the finished product somewhere.

This is the only time I've ever seen a roof installed first, followed by walls. LOL
