That's pretty incredible motion to see in a storm in SoCal. I lived in SoCal for many years and never once did I see anything like that. Of course, I see that all the time now that I live in CO. I'd be surprised if your storm didn't drop at least a weak tornado at some point.

i live in the capital OC, which is Santa Ana. we had 2 or more tornado touch downs in huntington beach and newport beach.

They locked down my school because of the tornado warning. Luckily it didn't hit where I live.
