  • Looks good, but if I want to search, it needs to be fast. I don't want to wait a day and look at some animations. If MS intergrates the interface in the browser, so it'll be fast, it would be perfect

  • WHERE IS THIS

  • So they are improving the clutter on bing page instead of improving search results?

  • No.jpg.avi.scr.exe

  • Microsoft has quietly made significant and impressive improvements: BING. IE9. WINDOWS 7. MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS.

  • where s the preview?

  • Microsoft have really stepped up their shit, I'm loving it.

  • i been a bing user since it first came out, been great to me

  • Beat that, Google.

  • Wow bing... its really awsome...

  • can't wait to try this out!

I'm already won over by bing, this will just make the switchover from google to bing much more permanent.

  • inteface is seek, will search results be better...

  • @timhessel canvas. But ofc we working by JS on it.

  • its kinda nice but I dont see ultra 1337 effect in my browser.. I want to browse net not masturbate on effects...

  • where is it Microsoft! It's been more than a month!!!

  • Thumb up. if you love speed of rendering not interface.

  • @denishdens The rendering speed of most browsers is at a point where it doesn't matter who is faster. Milliseconds here and there won't matter. Plus, IE9 is shaping up really well. Any browser released in the next few months will be great: Firefox 4, IE9, and Chrome what ever version since they come out with a new one like every month.

  • bing is cool, google keeps feeding you with tons of blue links, not cool

  • i'd comment on the new bing features and IE9, but i'm too busy vomiting from this guy's terrible terribile shirt.

  • @jlau81 It's not THAT bad. Could be better.

  • They can make it as pretty as they want but it doesn't help with the typically crappy results that are returned. I so rarely find what I'm looking for when I search on Bing, so I go to Google and generally find it on the first page of the search. I stuck with Bing for over a month and was so frustrated with the lack of correct results that I finally gave up. Give me a plain background with helpful links any day.

  • @daniel4847 They have almost exactly the same results as Google and Yahoo!.

  • IE9 team this, IE9 that, IE9 team solved the world... That's all html5 stuff. The same stuff that current versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera already support.

Despite all this usual Microsoft 'marketese', there are some interesting design/interaction ideas.

  • Amazing. All the stuff the other browsers could do for a good 2 years, now in Internet Explorer!

  • ever heard of jquery? He makes the lightbox's look like "im-cumming" situation

  • so 3 search results in 1 page?

  • I like the Bing photos and now ESPECIALLY this. The critics are whining about it being a distraction. From what? Your frantic day in which milliseconds matter so much that you have time for a 1 minute comment post on Youtube? I like Bing because it gives my frantic day a breath of fresh air.. a reminder that peaceful places in the world exist and it's not ALL about living a more productive digital life.

  • I hate to say it, but I'm actually pretty impressed.

  • I think most MSFT fanboys missed one of the most important technology NOT mentioned here: Silverlight! He even said: NO PLUGINS! Wow, as an open-standards fanboiiiiii, boy, am I happy today :-)

Ah, who cares if Microsoft behaves as if HTML5/SVG/Canvas was created last week by Microsoft, as long is Silverlight is nearing it's end, I AM HAPPY. As long as Microsoft (or, more correctly, SOME departments as Microsoft) is advocating OPEN tools and technologies, i am a happy puppy. I WISH THEM LUCK

  • I've been using bing for about a year now, and 99% of the time get the results I want. And the times that i dont get what i want, i can't get it on google either. At least with my experiance, the search results with bing on almost as good as google, but down with a much more elgant fashion which i love

  • idk but google still comes up with better results than bing. and hee hee.. that 'instant search' thing google has going on is kinda cool

  • Can't wait to get my hands on this bing interface

  • I think the search engine is a search engine Ping Children

    Google, the best so far

  • wow, I'm liking that. Good improvements to Bing. I'll keep using it.

  • Wicked fast? HTML5?... not position: fixed? This guy needs a new shirt and more help when it comes to writing a keynote. Someone get this guy a new buzzword book. I love the unfold witchery though.

  • Nice!! so switching from google to bing now!!

  • @TkMToM1993 i dont care how good it LOOKS, if it cant produce good results. the other day i searched a movie character, and bing gave me a page of images of people dressed in the character's halloween costumes. No. just no.

  • @bombtom512 well duhh. lol google is alot better like that but i like customization and i like things that look good lol, my thing

  • @bombtom512 Maybe next time you shouldn't click on "image search" lol.

Way to use the internet, lol.
