This is such a beautiful song. We lost a friend/ mom / firefighter a few yrs ago to tragic accident and someone took a bunch of her pictures and made a wonderful slide show using this song. We will never forget her and what she did.

@LuluDante I know the pain of losing a loved one. I am lucky enough to not have lose any close friends. The only people that i have ever lost that i was close to was my grandparents on my dads side and my grandma on my moms side. Though as time goes by it gets easier, I still have moments where i just sit and think about them and the memories we shared. 1 day we will all get to see eachother again and there wont be anymore sad endings. Thats how i look at it anyway

This reminds me of a friend in America I have. I live in Holland, but we got in touch through IMVU on the internet and then on msn and email. We always had a great time if we were talking to eachother, we laughed and we helped eachother out as much as we could online when we felt down... Nowadays he's to busy to get in touch with me I guess...I sometimes email him, but never hear from him again and coz of the time difference we're not on msn at the same time anymore...I really miss him...:'(

the reason it makes me cry is when i was 4 my mom and dad split up and my mom got custody of me and my brother so i had no daddy to go to and when i was about 5 our family took in forieghn exchange students and i looked up to agerman boy like a big brother maybe even like a dad and when he leeft i sang this song to him and three years ago our family got a little girl from foster care and we had her for three years(continued above)
