  • I love this guy's voice, my fav perts are:

"Take to the catwalk dah-ling and show us, GAW-JUS!"

"...alarms, alarms are going off!! Walk for me!"

"Walk like you're running from the police!!! Walk for me!"

  • What's the song....Anna is Beautiful!!! That walk is like no other. The best! She wins hands down!!!

  • i love her in ysl !

  • Charo Ronquillo look a like. have just notice that she Charo resembles like Anna. Their cheekbone and all.

    REALLY A FILIPINA BEAUTY!

  • what song is this called?

  • we must be really proud of her, beacuse she is a filipina ;)

  • i swear she was practically in almost every fashion show in the 80s!

  • Bravo Anna Bayle! You're the greatest Filipina in Fashion modelling.

  • Anna Bayle's name was even mentioned in the soundtrack of this video..

    "Walk like Anna Bayle"...

  • I never thought any filipino would be a supermodel!!

    I guess I'm proud

  • nice...

  • First or not, her achievements can't be discounted. You may want to read Time magazine's Style & Design article, which cites Anna Bayle, together with Kimora Lee Simmons, Devon Aoki and Irini Pantaeva, who were the prominent Asian models during the 80s and 90s, paving the way for the current crop of rising Asian stars like Du Juan, Hye Park and Eugenia Mandzhieva. Hopefully, more Asians make it in the world of Fashion in the years to come.

  • She has an amazing, graceful, sinuous walk, and I agree about her being slender without looking like she's a skeleton. Today's models could learn a thing or two.

  • Did Naomi Campbell copy her style? it look the same style of walking. very sexy.

  • Did Naomi Campbell copy her style of walking? It look the same style . very sexy

  • Anna, wala nang papalit sayo, ikaw lang talaga. IKAW PA RIN !!!

  • This just shows you how racist the industry is, I've never heard about her until now, she's amazing

  • luv u Anna..Panalo ka talaga.

  • luv her..luv the gay anthem music.

  • I saw her really up close at a Michael Kors Resort show at his showroom in Chelsea in the early 90s and she was spectacular. She was a generation older than Kareb, Gail, Yasmin, Meghan, Naomi and Carla but she held her own. No one worked that narrow showroom floor with more elegance and gravitas.

  • She's gifted with a naturally slender body. She doesn't look hungry like most models do. Go Anna!

  • there's naomi campbell walk and then theres anna bayle walk..hehehe..nice..

  • in one of the fashion shows, she lost an earring:~)

  • She lost the earring at 1:23

  • she was so good and at a time when fashion was so good!!! now we have size 0 models that look like shyt!!

  • Fierce!!! Diosa!!!

  • She's so classy and elegant! I love her. <3

  • FIRST Asian Supermodel...hands down!

  • wow...that walk..so phenomenal!....a woman painted by igarta...immortalized(too bad his paintings are locked in a warehouse somewhere in nyc). she walked for the world and yes..we love it! we luv ya honey...oui cest manefique!

  • wow, she's got some nice ass hair

  • NO! she's not the first Asian supermodel-- far from it.

if we go by fashion history-- the first ever Asian model who did the Paris collections was HIROKO for Pierre Cardin-- who was then at t he height of his fame.

then MARIE HELVIN in the 70's-- you couldn't find any magazine without her in it in the 70's--it was really Helvin who worked alongside Jerry Hall( they were best buddies) & Iman doing the Paris collections.

  • whatever...walk the geisha way...classy

  • Marie helvin was not known for being an asian. Being the first asian in the catwalks of europe doesnt mean that youre the first asian supermodel. There are handful of asian models before anna bayle who became famous in europe, the japanese sayoko, the indian kivat and another filipina, tetta agustin, but they never reached the supermodel status, as compared to ms. bayle

  • i agree! ANNA BAYLE is the first Asian Supermodel!

  • Being the first asian who made it in the catwalks of europe doesnt mean that its the same with being the first asian supermodel. in fact there's a handfull of asian models who first broke in the european modelling scene in the 70's;the japanese sayoko, the indian kivrat and another filipina, tetta agustin, but they never reached the supermodel status of anna bayle in the 80's

  • anyone heard of Marie Helvin? she's Japanese/American whose truly the first Asian supermodel-- she came about in the 70's doing the collections with Jerry Hall & was married to David Bailey who 'discovered' the FIRST REAL SUPER MODEL OF ALL TIME-- JEAN SHRIMPTON. THE SHRIMP INVENTED THE WORD!

  • they were just asian models.. but not SUPERMODELS

  • Wow jaw dropping!

  • i hope that there will be another super model woman from philippines..

  • fierce!

  • Anna bayle is the best in catwalk! ttruly the 1st asian supahmodel!

  • Did they use her as the model for Disney's Pocahonta?

  • very graceful & beautiful. a classic!

  • anna bayle is also extremely intelligent. she attended THE philippine science high school-diliman.

  • She's fabulous. She keeps her word that she wouldn't go back to modelling. She even said no to YSL for his last retrospective show prior to his retirement.

  • @ 2:48, the lyric of the song goes "walk like anna bayle"... so it really means she's trully a catwalk icon...

  • now i know where naomi picked up and reinvented anna'walk.

  • i heard shes coming up a reality show, just like america's next top model.. the title will be who is the next anna bayle.. so i guess the aspirants and models to be are asians or filipinos perhaps.

  • Oh my GOD..who is she?i really dont know who is she nd suddently she become an asia super model.Walk on the runaway also like something bite her leg...haiyo...

  • simply because you don't know anything!!!

    and watch your grammar!!!!

  • BONZAIMY..all u know are japanese walk..u know like a giant elephant can go through between ur 2 legs. means "sakang" ha ha

  • bonzaimy...perhaps you're still young and your parents don't speak or read English.

  • ignorant,,,,,,heard of any Malaysian supermodel...haha joke

  • bonzaimy theres a site called wikepidia type look for the search icon then type anna bayle then press search...read everything about her...but I doubt youll understand...

  • hahaha coz you're a fashion victim, that's why

  • You may want to read Time magazine's Style & Design article, which cites Anna Bayle, together with Kimora Lee Simmons, Devon Aoki and Irini Pantaeva, who were the prominent Asian models during the 80s and 90s, paving the way for the current crop of rising Asian stars like Du Juan, Hye Park and Eugenia Mandzhieva. Anna's contribution couldn't be discounted, as warranted by a mention in the magazine after all these years.

  • wats the title and artist of this song??? it's tha hotness. oh yeah, totally agree w/ the above two comments :) GO, Anna!

  • Anna was one of the great runway models of all time. I photographed her on the runway and believe me she was a class act on and off the runway.

  • Goddess!
