They ended up having the "marines" confess that they weren't really marines at all, but refugees from a FEMA camp that took the left over equipment from the real marines.

i'm diisapointed they went for the old struggle for the gun cliche the writers are usually better than that i can forgive it though it's a good show also in the pilot jake does a trachiotomy i don't think i've ever seen a medical show were someone doesn't do that. it's a pretty rare procedure and jake didn't even try to clear the air way first (psa to anyone in a simular situation: exaust all other avenues before cutting someone throat open) the more you know

for example, when stanley needed pesticides, but gracie wanted too much for them--how are any of them going to eat, then? i think the idea is that the more you're willing to share and support each other, the further you'll all get. that's not really patronizing, it makes a lot of sense.

it got cancelled because the show had too much balls. they aired on CBS, the same network that airs survivor and walker texas ranger.. its a red state type of network, most people that watch it are log cabin republicans, and the second season was a little to left-wing conspiracy-ish for its viewers, so it got canceled. it had probably one of the best first seasons of any show EVER. a jericho movie would be at most 3 hours long... there were 27 episodes at 45 minutes a piece... you do the math
