Sharbat is an enchanting women... she should not of had to live her life in such fear and sadness. There are people on youtube that photoshop her picture, which is terrible and exploits her even more then she already has been. Wherever she is i hope she is in a peaceful place, and smiles every one in a while....

I can barely look at her when she begins dropping her veil, to me it is like she feels exposed in a sexual way. She lives in a society were it is indecent to show a foreign man you face and IMO Steve McCurry should have respected that.
