BERLIN (Reuters) – A German court has ordered former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore to pay damages after ruling the guitar solo in his 1990 hit "Still Got the Blues" had been plagiarized from a German song written in 1974.
A court in the southern city of Munich said on Wednesday the solo in Moore's song was too similar to the one in "Nordrach" by the band Jud's Gallery not to have been copied
Saw this very same line up at a small pub on the seafront in Worthing West Sussex Pub has recently been pulled down, it was caled the Half Brick had some great Music there in its time. Buddy Whittington What a Great Player and a real nice guy to boot! Gary Moore and Buddy were Great Together So sad Gary has since passed away. RIP Gary you are missed by the world!
3:41 Buddy does the chicken! Brilliant. I said how I liked it after the gig and he said it was something a friend of his called John Nitzinger used to do in a song called Louisiana Cock Fight. It was the first time I ever spoke to him and what a friendly guy. We've been mates ever since..
Saw Pete last night (New years eve) at the Windsor Castle pub in Carshalton. For those that don't already know, he plays in a band called "Bad Influence" with Val Cowell on rhythm guitar, Harry James on Drums, former "Thunder", and the absolutely fantastic, naturally gifted Richard Hayes on Lead guitar.
Richard's specialty is "Slide" with a glass bottleneck, as good a player as you will find anywhere, i wish he did more with other bands but he seems happy doing what he does with Bad Influence

@MrFinncole Check out Poppa Chubby in NY. He makes Whittington look small and he also rips hell out of the guitar.
