Maria didn't die from the gun shot. read it in the comics. one bullet shot won't kill you. It just made maria get knock out for a while and that made shadow thinking that she got killed by it. but she never died from the gun shot. after that. She got sent to a different space station for the rest of her life. years past and she had a child and after the child was born Maria died. And that's the real truth of how maria died.

my friend got back from court and she said she didn't know yet and she went to meet the teacher night and i think she may not butt what ever i decided is whats best for her and she gave ma a necklace incase she left and i put one of my fav necklace charms on it and i swore id never take it off unless i was taking a shower and although i will be sad and miss her if she dose leave we will always be friends and my sadness dosnt count it is weather she is happy and i and her boy friend will be to.

yah she's told me alot about her family and iv'e never gone through her pain befor butt iv'e gone through a tottally different pain,..at school 5 through 6 grade my life was a living hell and the popular kids spread rumors about me they tryd to turn me into one of them and i hated my self i was hurting my self and even 3 times ive thought about running away from my town and commiting suiside butt im better then that and im not mental butt i was having emotional break downs and ive gone emo once

I part-way aggree with you. I don't think the kindness 'died' in Shadow when Maria was taken from him, I think it more-or-less 'went into a hybernation-type-mode, like he did when he was put into cryro.

I think it just needs the chance to wake up :)!

True, true, you know what; this video makes me wish Sega would produce a game about Shadow's days at Colony ark, and his adventures with Maria! or if they don't; then i'd settle for an issue or two of the Archie series(even tho its a different continuity) to cover a little about Shadow's long ago past during his early days.. but i know its asking alot with the current stories in the comic strapped for time and space....but it would be great!
