It's funny how, in the book, Phoebus is actually pissed-drunk at this time, stumbling along down the street as Frollo follows him...which almost gives him an excuse for being so thick when he asks if that's his "shadow". Here, though, he really just comes across as a total ditz! hehe. This scene is awesome. And Daniel is...fantastic. ;)

The problem is that the song is only loosely well translated.

Pheobus says "Pardieu!", which is an exclamation, a bit like "Damn!", and can only be loosely translated as "Of course"
