I did 3:00 after the Ropeburn fight and the entire ground level turned into this weird black and colorful abyss. And when you jump into it, you go out of the map and fall for like a minute then suddenly die.

im pretty sure he was looking for a shortcut,, and who knows, maybe one of these areas might let you jump down into another part of the level and cut a big sction off the speedruns,, or even enough to jump off, activate a checkpoint, and die, but still skip a big chunk of the level.. :D

Like, lol Aprill!! Let me fill you in: It's the fun and challenge of "breaking" past environment barriers to explore areas that are not meant to be explored. This has been common practice for any game (especially platformers such as Mirror's Edge) since the dawn of games.

you can't go to the Ropeburn bit, though. there's always an invisible line you have to cross in videogames for something to happen. so, sorry, you can't surprise him and Lt. Miller

@ovendonkey186 Hey the xbox may get a rr of death, but i learned the ps3 gets something called the yellow light. Its supposed to ruin it.

@JacobsStash Yeah ps3 can get the yellow light, but it's just a disc read error or something, I'm not completely sure. You can get it fixed pretty easily. It'll only happen if you take bad care of the ps3 though. Games don't cause it

dumb? well it gives you more to do in the game, plus it's fun. it doesn't hurt the ps3 or xbox at all. there's tons of these glitches in the game.
