why would you need the mic that close... i mean really, if you can hear the car from where you were standing originally the mic would pick the sound up too.

do you have the X, H or the stock Y pipe on it? because i have the stock Y pipe with a magnaflow exhaust and i want to put headers on it but i dont know if you can do that without the full exhaust

I believe I had an H pipe from magnaflow, along with the mufflers. It's been 3 years since I sold the car, so I can't remember for sure.

i am doing the same thing with mine except i am putting bbk shorty headers and a cold air intake on mine too.
