The thing is with handstands that most of the balance comes from the fingers. Try spread your fingers and keep them a bit curved and press them to the floor when you are about to fall forward. Also try to flex your feet, this will make your legs straighter and easier to balance. My third tip for you is that you should always keep yourself leaning a little bit forward. This makes things a lot easier as you got your fingers that way so you can balance your self.
