Many people may try to do a recording over in their own rendition of the song. And they may do a pretty decent job. But this is one of those songs, that will never be done better and with such a soulful feeling. You can hear and feel how much all the members put their very best into this song.

Its like trying to do over Smokey, The Isley Brothers Luther Vandross or Boys Two Men. Some songs just can't be touched and this one of those songs.

Wow. The song is powerful enough...I have been a Maze fan since "While I'm Alone" came out in 1977 when I lived in Philly. One of my all time favorite groups. But the video was superb. It is the vision I have in mind when I think of "Golden Time of Day" by Maze, one of my all time favorites. Thanks for the video, very nice.

"While I'm Alone" is my number 1 song by Maze. Did you know that Frankie Beverly did that song first with another group? Group was called Raw Soul and he did it with them first. '76 I think. Saw Maze at the Budweiser Superfest in 1982 in New Orleans....great show.
