Mainly, for the rate of Horror Movies, Japanese and Korean Horror Movies is the scariest. Most American movies are lame. Notice how you dont scream in American movies? Those movies are the "disgusting" or "sick" ones, making you close your eye and scream. Japanese and KOrean movies are better. "The Grudge" in AMerican is lame. In Japanese, the Grudge is 6xscarier. The Exorcist is more scary than any japanese or chinese movie. Most horror movies in Japan show little originality. Goth is no exception. I don't cast magic, worship satan/demons, fornicate, take drugs, etc. (which not all goths do, anyway).
I am uncomfortable with American popular culture, which values physical beauty over spiritual beauty, and I mourn constantly over the fallen state of the world and the great suffering of its people. I do not want to be as if all is okay when people starve to death daily (21k preventable disease/hunger deaths of children/day). It's just not enticing.

we keep looking for heaven without being willing to embrace our hell. if this was my dream, when she breaths in my ear and becomes the dead of undesirable i look at my shadow, "what will i see of my rotten and cold?" the 'other side' is only the other side until we integrate and see as one. is the 'dead end' a scary place to be, with few options, or is it full of opportunity allowing subtle shifts in perspective?
