@ptipalo So.... basicaly just because we are made in his image we get to go to heaven, despite being one of the most destructive races out there? (face it, we made nukes, so were kinda high on the danger level.) but something like a bee which only lives a few days cant because it doesnt look a certain way?

Theists say atheists borrow their morality from theists. Why, then, don't they say that atheists borrow their musical talent from theists? Or the very faculty of reason that led them to question and dismiss the very notion of god? It seems all the arguments for theist-based atheist morality...sort of demolish the whole contradictory idea of "theist based reasoning that leads to atheism". Of course, if you just acknowledge that none of these things are based on theism, there is no problem.

...You don't go to heaven when you die....you wait for the ressurection just like Jesus taught. The idea that you go on living in another place after you die was exposed as a theological fraud during the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago. Rome got that idea from the Egyptians (afterlife).

Maybe the Egyptians had it right, or maybe the Hindus are right and we get resurrected, or maybe Islam has it right. Without actual evidence, shouldn't we assume as we do for all the other religions? That they are all fakes and that there is no heaven, no afterlife.

Thats wrong. the Koran says that all creations go to heaven. Anything that is a living thing goes to heaven. The only reason why Humans are the only creation that go to heaven or hell is because they have a conscious mind and they know right from wrong.

@Theboxer500 Religion is based on man's need to explain the world around them (that was the first and foremost part of the belief). When primitive man saw death (of their loved ones) they made up the notion that the "soul" continues after death, to help them ease their loss. Oh, and their enemies all go to hell, because they're bad people. There were lots of beliefs in a plethora of gods, even Indians (north america & such) worshiped natural gods. Man created god.

Some of the tings that Christians are pictured doing in that video I am strongly opposed to. For instange the "God hates Fags" posters - that's not showing God's grace - that's preaching a strict set of morals to live by - AND THATS NOT WHAT CHRISTIANITY IS ABOUT!! - Like I said it's not about doing x, y or z - it's by Gods grace that we arte allowed into heaven.

In fact, it is not about the way we behave that dictates whether people go to heaven or not. If that was the case no-one would get there because we all stuff up, including the most religious Christians. No, the only way to heaven is through JESUS
