whitburn book says she had SIX Top 20 pop hit singles in just a twelve month span -- Dec 1954 to Jan 1956!

and eight 45s issued (by RCA, same label) during 1956 all failed to break Top 40 on the charts. by 1960 she was on MGM and making cornball albums (two diff) of "north" and "south" Civil War songs.
