Great, now she'll have digestive issues because her stomach isn't going to produce enough acid. Hopefully she doesn't have H. Pylori, either, because she won't be able to eradicate it without so much hydrochloric acid. A PPI will not solve your problems people. Your cause is most likely a hernia or a problem with your LES.

I wonder if she got any side effects from the ppi she was put on?
