If you spray your perfume on your hairbrush and then brush your hair, that's a way you can get your hair scented like that without having to spray the perfume directly on your hair - which, like you said, if it contains alcohol, could be bad.

Actually if you also apply body cream to absorb into your skin first then your fav perfume it WILL also last. Light fragrance are not as strong as strong perfumes but for a light summer day, they are perfect.:-)

Another tip for longer lasting perfume is to spray some on your ankles, the back of your knees, the insides of your elbows and that hallow part on your shoulders. Also when you spray perfume on your wrists don't rub them together just let them dry. You could also spray a bit in unscented lotion and layer up the scent. :)

To all the ladies out there, DO NOT wear regular perfume on your hair. Regular perfumes contain high percentage of Alcohol which causes early white/grey hair for the young or it will increase the hair ability to produce even more white hair... It kinda suffocates the root of your hair! If you must, use perfumes with oily base or non alcoholic/ hair perfumes which contain very low average of alcohol. Bless you all!

I apply perfume right out of the bath, but before that I put baby powder all over. Its the same concept as your powder trick. I just feel that if you apply it directly on your skin instead of your clothes it mixes with your phermones better. Hope that helps someone =) x

one of the greatest tips that never fails me is applying a light thin coat of vaseline to the areas i normally spray my perfume with beforehand, it acts just like a primer or base that will soak up and really help your perfume last super long and smell stronger!

I only put one spray on both of the back of my wrists and two on the front of my neck. I don't think Ocean Lounge by Escada is such a strong perfume as I don't really smell it afterwards. I like it because it's girly and fruity, but the perfume I want is Mademoiselle by Channel. Too bad it's so expensive... I don't really think it's such a good idea to put perfume in your hair though.. Thanks for the other tips anyway! :)

The best tip is to simply apply your perfume to pulse points: the heat of your skin is what diffuses the scent (think of scent diffusers: you don't smell those oils unless you light a candle under, perfume acts the same way, it needs heat to be diffused), and that heat is stronger on: the inside of the wrists and elbows, the side of the neck, behind the ears and even behind your knees. Avoid spraying on clothes as the oils can stain textiles. Also, layering soap/cream/perfume helps.

Any pulse point works because the blood is closer to the skin there-by warming it naturally and releasing the scent. Also, if your perfume isn't majorly expensive, you can add a bit to the rinse water when you wash your laundry. That way your clothes will be carrying your signature scent as well (especially useful for handwashing your lingerie!). Thanks! ^_^
