This places a lot of strain on all who work in these factories because making less than $6 a day is much better than not making any money. If us Americans were willing to pay just a little more for our clothing, and Nike paid less to athletes, this issue could be solved, well theoretically speaking.

The story are not totally true .

At AUS$7.50 per day they are getting much more than what Malaysian unskilled labour are getting . These are excluding the accomodation provided by the employer and the fee the employer need to pay to engage the labour . All add up the employer are paying more for imported labour compared to local .

The labour in the first place are being cheated by their own agent in their country promising highly paid salary .
